Plum Creek Park

Plum Creek Park is named for the subdivision it is a part of. It is connected to the surrounding neighborhoods by sidewalks and paved trails; so neighborhood residents can walk, bicycle or ride in a wagon or stroller to the park. A reasonable amount of parking is available on-site, though I have not been there for an organized sporting event.

As shown in the photos, facilities include a nice children's play area with swings, slides and lots of sand. Someone recently added a Little Free Library to this part of the park.

There is also a baseball diamond and a soccer field. Permanent benches are installed around the children's play area and bleachers are available at the baseball diamond. There is also a nice steel picnic table.

The park is mostly level, though the entries from the trails have a pretty good slope to them.

There is a restroom facility on-site, but it has always been locked when we visited. I suppose someone unlocks it for baseball or soccer games.

My children and I have enjoyed many hours at this park playing on the equipment or playing catch.
