Earl's Steak Sandwiches

People kept saying these guys have great steak & cheese. Yep, great steak & cheese. The menu had so many options I wanted to order, but I had to start with the basics. Very good. Very unique old-timey decor with booths, tables and diner counter. Service was authentic and attentive. I’ll definitely be back. Located in an off the beaten path part of Dover, near the Dover rink and Rollinsford. Comfort food destination.

We stopped in yesterday when we were in town and I could believe how cute this place was. I love the diner vibe! The staff were super friendly and accommodating when we had questions for our first visit. We tried the potato salad, Reuben, steak and cheese sub and mushroom appetizer. All the food was great. A definite must stop if you're in Dover!!

WOW!!!! Our first time trying Earl’s and it was amazing. A lot to choose from on this menu but I tried the murder hornet steak sub and it was incredible. So different than any steak sub I’ve ever had. How original!!!

The corn bread is great and the chicken tenders have a great batter.

We took it out but the inside of this place is a great atmosphere. The woman who waited on us (I didn’t catch her name) was very helpful guiding us through their large menu of unique selections.

Can’t wait to try other things on the menu.

Recently visited for lunch on their outdoor patio! Pastrami burger & onion fry basket were fresh and filling.

Love their unique specials! These coconut shrimp tacos w lime slaw, madarine oranges, and bang bang sauce was super delicious & the staff is always super friendly. If you're considering trying them out, I highly recommend you do!

We had a family reunion with 12 people and decided to have it catered by Earl's. We ordered their St. Louis ribs and chicken wing catered packages. Both came with BRBQ and Buffalo sauce. Food was ready on time, perfectly packed and hot. The rave reviews from guests started after the first one or two bites. Meaty wings and ribs with "falling off the bone perfection." Earl's is an undiscovered gem. Absolutely the best I have ever had. We had some leftovers due to a couple canceling. So my wife and I enjoyed a second round. Even after freezing it a week it was better than before..or maybe we had just fallen in love over Earl's..the BEST!

1st time there today with my brother. He got the Korean steak I had the honey stung chicken...both were phenomenal. Service was top notch will totally be back.

Awesome!! A real hidden gem in Dover. I had the double patty burger with Murder Hornet sauce. Really good. We will be back VERY soon.

The food was amazing! Their flavors are perfectly balanced and the their portions are huge. I will definitely be visiting this shop again!

You ever walk down the street and see something you just HAVE to get. I went on Instagram saw Earl's and I just had to have it. Earl's did not disappoint! Real tender steak, with onions you can actually see and taste. Fries have that nice pinch of salt and crispy without the grease. Seriously, I wished I had gotten a second one. Staff is super friendly, fun, and nice. Very clean inside with good amount of seating. Philly kid about that Geno's and Pat's (IYKYK) you need to try Earl's. I swear it's that good.

This may be the best diner style restaurant in the area. It's got a fun retro car theme. The owners are lovely people who welcome everyone with a smile. They serve incredible food, especially their homemade chicken nuggets and BBQ specials. If you love to eat you won't be disappointed, because the portions are huge! Earl's is always worth a trip.

Hidden gem!
Absolutely amazing food, cant believe I didn't find this place sooner. Anytime someone mentions a cheese steak I have to tell them about Earls now. I wish they would do delivery but honestly I think the demand would be higher than the little kitchen could handle so I would prefer the quality they produce over the quantity that would be demanded if they did. If they haven't been on phantom gourmet yet, this is a required stop for sure!

The Big Tony was the bomb! Great service and atmosphere...will def go back as there are more things we want to try 😀

This place was incredible. I could tell everything was made in house, from the curing of the pickles for the fried pickles to the roasting and slicing of all the meats. The service wasn't the best but it was Saturday lunchtime and the place was packed. Highly recommend for any time or place for any meal of the day.

OMG! I’ve lived out here for a year now and have been looking for a restaurant like Earl’s. The food was great, the service was great, and the wait was not long. Music was entertaining as well.

My wife got a burger, she's a burger critic and she loved it. The poutine was very good as well. This place definitely makes my favorites list.
