Some trails were closed, as well as the museum—maybe due to the season or COVID but, there were still much to see. No crowds at all. It was quiet and pretty cold. I probably saw two people. It was a bit eerie exploring with no sounds, other than the nearby cars driving by the road and, maybe, some birds. It was a pleasant small hike after a long morning. It was peaceful for me. I loved it.

Awesome learning experience! Kids had tons of fun and didn't want to leave. The interactive touch screens and new activities are impressive. Only critique would be the restroom sinks need different faucet heads. Makes a mess and sprays all over. Would highly recommend this to all!

Every October, our extended family gets together for a cookout at Schramm. This is a great park with space for the kids to run and play with a great playground.

Small aquarium with local species. It's not always about size. My kids had a blast learning about the local wildlife and I had fun as well. The state records for fishing are all located on the walls along with other information that is fun for a local outdoorsman. It's only a short walk to get to the old hatchery. Don't forget a small bag of cat food to feed the carp.they will almost climb out of the lake to get it from you. We all had fun with that!took the short walk up a small trail to get to a playground and walked the same path out again. It was a great stop.

Schramm Park is one of my favorite places to come to on a nice sunny day. The hiking trails are great to explore and really work your calves up the hills. Right now (Spring 2023) there is construction preventing you from driving through the main part of the park, but parking is still available throughout. You will need a daily or yearly park permit to park here, available online or at the park info board. There is no camping at Schramm, but you can camp at Platte a river State Park or Mahoney State Park just down the road. The education center at Schramm is great for kiddos too!

Great place to learn about birds and aquatic life that are native to Nebraska. Go to the education center for all sorts of fun. Trails are well kept and are enjoyable.

One of the best hiking spots closest to Omaha. You've got two trails (one short, and the longer one adds on) with loads of trees, a creek, suspension bridge, and nature! Best for hiking, or running, but you can definitely bike it.

Great well-maintained paths, everyone needs a fun walk in the woods sometimes. Not too strenuous, but you can break a sweat if you want to. The fish ponds are really unique

It was really fun and relaxing to sit and watch the goslings today! One family of 7 and another with 4. Big fish jumping up out of the pond and a beautiful view!
