HWY 370 Access - Chalco Hills Recreation Area

My go to for peace and to get grounded with our mother earth. This place centers me and the deer are everywhere! Great place to bike ride. Its green now and cant wait to get back. I'm sure the landscape has redecorated itself!!!

Excellent trail, best for jogging/ walking, or slower biking. I've had two accidents there on my road bike, both due to inattentive pedestrians, have to be ultra careful. You also have to deal with the pompous elitist idiots that live nearby who bring their dogs down so they can poop right on the trail and then they don't clean it up. Most of them live in the Housing Development right next to the trail. They are the worst

Great park, but pay attention to landmarks on trails, as it's easy to get on the wrong junction, and difficult to see land-marks with small hills. Wish they had more bathrooms, and perhaps a nearby option for drinking water. It's a pretty good sized recreation area. Would like to see paddle boat or kayak options. They do have e bikes for rent!
