Halleck Park

This is one awesome place in this city. The ultimate trail to meet the 10,000 steps goal in a serene, extremely well maintained, clean & peaceful atmosphere. A great place for cyclists and for those who love to take a long walk before or after dinner. Great place for kids to accompany their parents for both walking or cycling during the evenings. Huge parking lot with ample space.

Beautiful relaxing park with a nice trail all the way around it. Ducks and geese, cute little bridge. Pretty butterfly benches and picnic areas.

Beautiful and clean park! Gracious butterfly benches and regular benches available. Vegetation, birds, geese, ducks, frogs and 2 little lakes with beautiful fountains in it. Clean bathrooms with toilet paper available. I love it!

Love taking the kids to visit and feed the ducks. Be sure to bring frozen peas and corn. Definitely their favorite.

Love the park & the dedication from the city and volunteers. But for God's sake, YOU CANNOT LET YOUR KIDS CATCH TURTLES &/OR TAKE THEM HOME OR TOUCH EGGS THAT ARE IN A NEST REMOVING THEM AND HOLDING THEM UP....& THE POND IS NOT FOR YOUR KIDS TO WADE IN AND TRYING TO CATCH TURTLES WITH THE NETS YOU PROVIDED. FISHING ONLY. NO WONDER ANIMALS SUFFER BC OF LACK OF COMMON SENSE IN DECENT HUMAN BEINGS...DO BETTER!!

PARENTS NEED TO DO BETTER! NEITHER OF THOSE THINGS SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED. AND NO I DON'T FEEL BAD FOR YELLING AT THOSE BRATS!

Just amazing view thus park is kept up. It sees a lot of traffic but, its so beautiful and quiet truly you could sit here and meditate.

The perfect park for walking, feeding ducks or geese, and featuring two playgrounds. There's one for the littles and one for the bigs.I love the beautiful and mature trees that provide ample shade in the summer and make for nice, leafy walks in the Fall.

Great little in town lake and park. Lot's to do with the family like fishing, walking, biking, picnics, etc.

Halleck park has always held a special spot in my heart. If I want a walk to clear my mind, it's the place. If I want to feed some ducks, it's the place. If I want to fish with my family without worrying about my kids drowning or getting snags, this is it. I've hosted birthday parties there. The restrooms are also modern. Not a gaping hole in the ground so my kids don't freak out. It's always peaceful. Always tranquil. You should pay it a visit.

The fountains, trail around the water, ducks, and geese are so relaxing!!

Very nice park! We love to go out there with our babies and have picnics frequently and watch the ducks. Never really too crowded and nice to take a walk around the duck pond.

Fun place to take the kids and walk around the pond and see lots of ducks. Park and a outdoor exercise spot.

Met a friend to just take a walk in the park, chat and have a picnic snack. Beautiful day, calm, peaceful... Just nice to get away, relax and get away from it all 😊

Wonderful and a huge park with multiple playground areas, a lake, walking path, rentable - shelter for parties (with electricity and a fireplace for cooler days), bathroom is connected to the shelter structure. I did not go into the bathroom, not sure of it's HC accessibility. Plenty of picnic tables and benches throughout the park. Lots of shade. This was my 2nd time at the park this year and I enjoyed myself both times. Great place for everyone to enjoy the outdoors!

Halleck Park is calm, peaceful, quiet, full of things to do, and most of all, just plain beautiful. There are many walking paths through a "forest" of many different tree types. Each of the trees has its own placard to tell you what kind it is. There are ponds to either walk around, take pictures, or even fish. There are a couple of different places that have kids' playgrounds. There are multiple fields for softball and baseball. I've even seen soccer practices held. Great place to take your kids or just go relax.

Great park! A little over 0.4 mile loop around the pond, decent fishing (depending on time of year), plenty of parking and access to additional biking/walking trails!

Halleck Park was the second stop on our "park hop" today. It's got a lot of fun slides, swings, a rock climb, and space to run! My kids had a blast.

Great place to take the kids to fish. Almost guaranteed catching with a worm and bobber. Plenty of other things to do like play on the play sets. Jog around the pond. Or rent the pavilion for a family get together.

This a beautiful little park to catch a few moments of solitude. A short walking trail around the lake gives you an opportunity to stretch your legs while the numerous benches and picnic areas allow you to relax and enjoy the view.
