I have been taking my pup here since he was a puppy. I'm always happy with the staff here & every product I receive. All the staff is very nice & knowledgeable. I only trust PSP with matters that involve my very important pup. Food, treats, grooming they got it all.

We have a LOT of pets and every time we go into this store we're greeted with friendly and knowledgeable staff.

On a recent occasion, the owner answered some questions I had about my bearded dragon and offered a number of smart, thoughtful ideas. He was generous with his time and insights. I'm so grateful to have such a great store and resource available in our town. Thank you!

We Love this PSP! Dom and his team are all rockstars! We groom dogs here regularly and everything necessary is full, ready, and available when you need it. Online ordering is a snap and we have never had any trouble with pick up. They have an amazing assortment of products, and while we have tried some new foods, they carry our favorite brand and offer regular coupon options for savings. The people are all so nice, welcoming and smiley too! We haven't needed it, but its great that they offer vaccine clinics and educational opportunities. Also, this may be the cleanest PSP I have ever been in and I have been to several in 4 states! HUGE FANS!

Absolutely LOVED the dog wash here! The staff was super nice, it is always a struggle to get my Great Pyrenees washed and for the price I could not believe it! This is wonderful, and it helped my fur baby with his anxiety for groomers ❤❤ Will definitely be back!

I recently went into PSP for a reptile tank. I’ve never been in before and tbh, I thought it was just for dog and cat supplies. While I was shopping around, I was greeted by multiple employees which were very helpful and super friendly! I ended up leaving with everything I needed and more! I came back a week later for more supplies & they remembered my pets name and asked for updates! I will only shop here for any of my pets needs from now on! Taco loves her new set up!

OMG this is the most amazing pet store. My girls love Emilee in the grooming salon so much they love all the other girls too Trisha, Emily, Barb, Richelle they take amazing care of them. The staff in the store is so helpful and friendly Tracy & Dom take time from what ever they are doing to give you their undivided attention if you have questions or need help finding something. This is the only pet store we go to. We travel about 25 miles to come here because the genuinely love my girls and only want the best for them ❤❤

I went to this location today because I needed a new filter for my aquarium & Dom was so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about everything I had questions about! He showed me around and told me the ins and outs of fish homing! I have 100% more knowledge on this topic and owe it all to Dom. He helped me troubleshoot my installation also after I had already gotten home with the new filter! I was worried he wouldn’t be there anymore by the time I called BUT HE WAS! Devoted! So we got through the issues together, and now my betta babies are safe, happy, and on their growing journey! This will be my new go to supply store for all things pets! Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. My last trip the manager helped me find the best cat food for my sick cat without breaking the bank.

Great people, great place! I love coming here for all necessities wether it’s for my cats or for my snakes they have just about everything I need. Was super happy to see you guys had frozen mice! Feeding two ball pythons has been a struggle since most other places are usually sold out, and for an AMAZING price!! Thankyou to August as well for being super kind! Since moving to Dover three years ago I’ve used two other groomers. I’ve used the mobile ones that charge 100 per dog for grooming. I’ve used the “boutique” style groomers that are fancy and cute. I decided to give a local pet store a try. I was hesitant because my dogs are so important to me. More expensive is better right? Better service? Better treatment? I always had purchased my dog food there, crickets and worms for my sons two Bearded Dragons! The customer service was always amazing so I said I’ll try it out. I wish I used them earlier. My Pit Mix Marge was welcomed (not BSL BS) and my Chi Mix Madison who’s not the most charming absolutely loved it. Trisha was the best with my pups and I’m so thankful for finding a REASONABLE place that does an amazing job. Aren’t they the cutest? Thank you Pet Supplies Plus and Trisha Gaulin !

This place is amazing! I've been struggling to find a place that will give me help with my fish and snails. I've been trying to learn everything via the internet and have had such a hard time. I went into this store with a snail I bought who was sick and I thought he was going to die. "Dr." Doug looked him over and explained exactly what he needs to help him get better. Turns out we needed something extra in the water. You should see the snail now! He's living life thanks to Doug over there. Highly recommend. Super nice and you'll find just about anything you need there.

There is a very good reason this store has a 5-Star rating. It's because of the crew that works there and the store owner - Dom. I purchase all my pet supplies here and have since the opened. There is a rewards program through corporate. Somehow, my account was not working properly. It tracked my purchases but I was unable to log into my account and use the rewards. Upon talking with Dom in the store one day, he could not have been more friendly and helpful. Not only did he give me a generous percentage off that same day, he worked with the corporate office to fix the issue with my account. When corporate would not honor my expired rewards, he took it upon himself to personally honor them and created a coupon for me in the amount that had been lost. He is friendly, responsive, and truly cares about what he does and his customers - both human and animal. Good customer service is a very rare thing these days. It was very refreshing to deal with Dom. Highly recommend bringing your dollars the Somersworth Pet Supplies Plus store. Keep your pet shopping dollars here and shop local. Thanks again Dom !!

Recently went to the groomers here, and it was amazing. We had Barb and she was so informative, helpful, funny, and nice! The pricing is ridiculously good and they treat the pets so well.

The best pet store this side of the galaxy. Well run, friendly staff and always lots of inventory. The groomers are also amazing. My dog was so scared at first and growled a bit but they were so good with her. Our own vet didn’t handle her as well as the staff here!

We had the pleasure of being taken care of by Samantha yesterday! She was great & super friendly as are the rest of the staff! We choose Pet Supplies Plus for all of our pets needs & it’s a huge plus that we can give the dog a bath as they provide all of the necessary supplies & it’s a much easier cleanup than doing it at home where the dog barely fits in the tub! Update: Pet Supplies Plus doubled the size of their betta cups and all of the fish look healthy. I was very happy to see these new updates and I would be comfortable buying their fish with the quality of care they receive.

For cat and dog food I give 5 stars, but for fish I give Pet Supplies Plus 1 star. Mainly because they keep their betta fish in cups and clearly aren’t doing frequent enough water changes because these fish look half dead. One was floating on its side at the top.

The betta that was almost dead cost $21.99 if I remember correctly. And another one was $12.99. That tells me they’ve done enough research to care to buy fancier varieties of betta but they don’t care enough to keep them humanely.

I’ll change my review if they put their betta in aquariums or simply stop selling them.
