Mancino's of Fenton

I came in here about a half hour before they closed. There's always a worry when you visit a restaurant so close to closing that there will be unenthusiastic staff, or the food won't be fresh or prepared with care.

That was not the case here at all. The staff were very friendly and very professional. They made our order fresh, very delicious. I love the grinders here. I recommend getting a large grinder-this will cost between fifteen and twenty dollars - but it will easily be enough for two meals. These heat up really well the next day in the oven or the air fryer.

Traveling for work and ordered pizza for dinner. Fantastic deep dish and hand tossed was delightful. Delivery driver was awesome and had plates and napkins in the car to make my dining experience even better.

I just ordered from here last weekend for the first time. The food was delicious! We ordered wings and they were absolutely delicious and the BBQ sauce was really good. The cheesy bread was also delicious! The delivery driver was super friendly as well. Will definitely go back!

If there was something to complain about it would only be the fact that they have a younger staff that gets a little bit behind when they get really busy but that in my mind is understandable.

The food has been exceptional and the service great! I would recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Best pizza in the area, hands down. The grinders are also fantastic. Way too big for one person to eat in one sitting, but they reheat just fine in a toaster oven or conventional oven.

One of the few places I can find a seafood-style sandwich these days. Grew up in Genesee County and remember loving Mancinos grinders. Decided to stop for one this weekend while visiting and it was just as good as I remembered it!

The extremely polarized reviews here are funny to me. Let's walk through the complaints I see.

First, I've worked in food service in the past for many years. I'm currently standing at the counter watching my order be prepared. The kitchen staff are all diligently working at station's preparing orders, dough, and other food items. Everyone is gloved and using proper food handling practices. The floors and work surfaces are all very clean. The tables are all very clean. I don't see dust or random debris anywhere. The bathrooms are clean. The condiments station is clean. The soda machine is clean. I see zero food safety issues or any cleanliness issues. Even the overhead lighting and ductwork appear to have been cleaned recently. The staff were extremely pleasant as always.

Are the tables, bathrooms, and some shelving in the kitchen a little dated. Yeah, kinda, but they are still clean and serviceable, and remember this is a local pizza joint, not steaks and wine fine dining. This is exactly the decor I'd expect for a pizza place.

Quality of the food. This is really where Mancino's shines. The pizza and grinders are honestly some of the best I've had in decades of travel.

My order was prepared very quickly. Do they get behind sometimes. I'm sure they do, every restaurant does. The margins in not-huge-chain restaurants are really thin, so you staff the best you can for the EXPECTED work-load, but sometimes weather, or bad days, or some other external factors change the expected number of orders. In those unavoidable cases, the STAFF who deserve patience, I'm certain do their best.

Unfortunately the way reviews work is, many people who never review at all get upset with one instance and jump in to drop a one star, likely after many orders that they didn't remark on at all.

I've ordered lots of items lots of times here. It's always exactly what I expect from a top-of-the-line local pizza place.

Mancinos never misses. I got the chicken breast grinder it was super good! Everything tasted fresh.

For me there is simply no better place for pizza and grinders! Google the story about Mancinos. It's best around for a long time and always is sooooo yummy!!

I accidentally ordered from them when it was supposed to go to Flint Twp, they refunded my money after we found out the mistake. I appreciate what they did.

We ordered pizza and subs Friday night. Everything was delicious.

I've never had bad food here. Their grinders are fantastic. You can't go wrong with stopping here.

The food is awesome but just a bit pricey

Definitely amazing grinders as always, repeat customer! The only thing I would recommend is when food is done have them hollar when it's done because we sat down for 10 extra minutes waiting knowing it was done, but more our fault then theirs maybe.

Grinders are good. Pizza is good also. Service was good as expected

Mancino's is my go to when I want a fresh made sub or Stromboli. The Lumberjack sub is the bomb, especially if you get it toasted. It's a couple days worth of food for one person or you could do what I do and cut it into 2 inch grinder sized snacks and eat them when I want to. You need to go there at least once. Service is great, but it does take a minute to build these meals but worth it.

They have gluten free pizza...in small size and perfectly yummy at that. My husband always gets the Italian grinder, his fave.
Highly recommend.
