If I could go back to high school and do all over again, I would know how to fix my own toilet or hang a new lamp these are major money professions! That I have a hard time paying for even with a college degree! I would even become a motivational speaker to these young students, things are so different today get them into these classes and push! 🤷

I went to KCTC during my time at high school and loved it. We did not have as many programs as it has now, but I am so excited to see the available paths for students has expanded and gives them a chance to excel sooner in life. I hope KCTC continues to grow and expand to give other students a chance to kick start their careers and futures like it did for me.

Amazing place to go for high schoolers who dont enjoy regular schooling. You get to do hands on learning and check out different career fields. You also can make new friends from different schools from all around the area.
I learned respect, professionalism, and when to work hard and play hard.

KCTC is a great experience and opportunity for any one who is in High School and would like to do some career exploration. KCTC is the place for you. I went to KCTC in my senior year of High School. I took the Intro To Hospitality course, Mr. Henderson was my instructor. And he was a great instructor all around, both in the bakery and in the kitchen. I am forever grateful for the experiences and opportunities I got to witness and experience during my time at KCTC.

Went here for 2 year for credits during high school. I went through the heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration and sheet metal program 1998-2000. I learned enough to jump into the HVAC field right out of high school. I now have a great career in HVAC engineering /sales. Highly recommended.!

I attended KCTC a few years ago and all I can say is if your child is in the Kent county school district, send your child there as they learn more skills for the workforce than any regular class a high school can offer.

The have subjects such as information technology, HVAC, nursing, culinary and automotive classes that offer both learning through reading and tests, as well as actual hands on projects with tools and equipment that are used in the workforce.

Many classes also offer credits that can be transferred to many school such as Ferris State or Davenport, or at the very least they did by the time I graduated in 2013.

Out of all the school's I've been in across the globe, this place is the ONLY place where I was happy about coming to school because I was able to get a experience in a job I've always wanted to do. I am proud to be part of the Criminal Justice program and really looking forward to this coming year.

That guy has no idea what he is talking about. I took part in the mechatronics class for engineering. Being in this class we had to work closely with most of the classes at the school, especially the automotive classes. All of the teachers have great knowledge of real world examples and really do prepare you for the real world. Three months after graduating and I have a job engineering for Mubea. I'm working as a coop for Kettering college. And I'm not running and getting coffee for the "big boys". I work with cad software help design parts sit in on meetings contact distributors. I am 18 and just left highschool. This I'd entirely thanks to this class. This is a great opportunity and everyone needs to take it if you want hands on learning and real job skills.

The kctc provram returns your effort. The provam i had gone through, criminal justice really has helped me figure out what i wanted to do. They help you if you ask. Its a hans on program and they would bring in real world professionals. I would never regret going there and a program vist and applying is something itd be hard to regret.
