Ramada by Wyndham Bronx

Honestly, my expectations were not the highest for a hotel in the Bronx. 😄 But it’s a good location for the business we came to take care of, and boy was I surprised at how great things were!

First off, the entire staff seems WAY more attentive than (sadly) I’ve come to expect in the hospitality industry lately. Hotels are a service business and it’s unfortunate that so many have lower standards than they used to have.

We checked in with Jocelyn at the front desk, and she also helped us with several things. Quickly and efficiently and with a smile. It’s a genuine pleasure being here. The hotel isn’t super-huge, it does have parking and as I said before, all the staff seems to follow the lead that Jocelyn provides!

Finally, the room design is great. They’ve made the most of the space. We certainly weren’t staying in a cookie cutter copy of other square little hotel rooms. Our room had angles and lovely furnishings.

The place feels like a great value

The staff was excellent. Maria and Jocelyn were so helpful at the front desk and friendly. So was the manager. Breakfast was good, had lots of options. The breakfast staff was attentive and kept the area clean. This is a well kept location definitely a gem in the Bronx.

I was helped at the front desk by Jocelyn. My check-in experience was very quick and professional. She was very friendly and made me feel at home. The room is really clean, no dust, no stray hairs on the bed or pillows. The bathroom is immaculate, everything shining, the towels were clean with no hairs on them and no cigarette burns anywhere in sight. It took me a few minutes to find the mini fridge because it’s inside of the cabinet, but it’s also very clean inside and out. The room also has a closet, an ironing board & iron, coffee/tea maker, and hair dryer.
10 out of 10 for customer service, room aesthetic, and cleanliness!

Jocelyn at the front desk was very wonderful attitude and helpful checking me in. She had a good vibe! Knows how to communicate. Really made me feel at home. You should have more employees like her. Or PAY HER MORE to train your staff! She was very much appreciated!

My sister and I stayed at the Ramada from June 19th through June 24th. I was met by Ms. Jocelyn who was professional and very helpful. From the moment we walked in she had a great smile that made you feel right at home. I was pleasantly surprise. Ms. Jocelyn has a wonderful spirit. We had a problem with the air conditioner, it stop getting cold, it was one of the hottest days of the week hitting triple digits. and Ms. Jocelyn was quick to moved us to a much better room with a jacuzzi. Oh yes I was very pleased. Customer service at it's best. I already told my friends about the Ramada by Wyndham at 1000 Baychester Avenue. I will definitely be staying here again.

Stayed for the second time and the service was so good I took the time this go around to share. Jocelyn and Priyansh were at the front desk and helped with a quick and smooth check in, ensuring that I was comfortable in my room and even made a courtesy call to my room to make sure. The room was clean and spacious. The jacuzzi is a nice way to unwind and relax. Also love that they have breakfast 6 to 10am.

I am a truck driver and I have been laying over at this hotel for many years being that it is right off the highway and always has plenty of parking. The service has always been exceptional, great staff! Very attentive to all my needs. One staff member that stands out above all is Joselyn, she is always very polite and helpful and goes above and beyond to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms are clean and newly remodeled. Definitely a home away from home.

My time here was short but boy was it memorable!! Jocelyn the receptionist is AMAZING!! She's always smiling,ready and willing to assist and I can't thank her enough for all that she did. Truly a 5 star service.

My husband and I stay frequently at this hotel because of it's location, free parking and great staff. Jocelyn at the front desk makes check in pleasant and easy. I blocked 6 rooms for family members and Jocelyn made everyone feel comfortable and the check in was quick. This hotel is managed by top notch staff, the rooms are always clean and the free breakfast/coffee is great.

We were visiting Orchard Beach and City Island and stayed at the Ramada Wyndham for Fri & Sat of Memorial Day weekend. The room was clean and everything worked properly. The front desk staff Jocelyn was very helpful checking us in and went above and beyond to welcome us and making sure we had everything we needed to ensure our stay was comfortable.

Jocelyn I’m pleased to stay at the Ramada Wyndham their breakfast is outstanding waffles and sausage this morning, very clean modern amenities. I recommend this lovely establishment to everyone. Jocelyn was very helpful during my visit. Thank you Jocelyn !!!

Jocelin has been the best hostess I’ve had take care of me in any hotel, my entire life. She is an asset to any company. She was so nice, asked all the right questions and made sure my stay and experience was 5 star worthy. Thank you Jocelin.

Jocelyn "who?" "WHAT?" ❤ She is it? I think she is a great person with a substantial personality and a significant personality. She is easily distinguished from the rest. I believe that she is destined for greatness, with a smile like hers and a good head on her shoulders (as she carries) she must be a great asset to your establishment. Clean place, clean rooms and feeling was comfortable. Thank you for making my stay safe and memorable 💓 YOUR really someone to keep an eye on and never let go of (In my opinion)!!

Great stay with free parking. Older hotel that has been renovated. Our stay was great, a call after check in to make sure all was okay. Needed extra towels and shampoo which was brought up within minutes. Parking lot looks secure with cameras. Breakfast included which was a plus.

Jocelyn is amazing!! She is so kind and sweet! I am here due to a death in the family and she treated us with so much care ! As we were on line someone came in a bit disrespectful and she honestly kept her composure and professional! I personally would have flipped! As she wanted to skip the line but Joselyn was professional enough to handle the situation nicely and respectfully.

Props to her!!! I would come back just because of her!

This is the only place I choose to stay when I have to stay at a hotel for work.
Rooms are always very clean.
Jocelyn is very professional and knowledgeable. She has helped me out on many occasions.

Fanny is on top of her game in the breakfast room in the morning; making sure things are clean and well kept. She quickly cleans up after someone once they get up from their table and assists anyone if they need anything while they are eating.

Jocelyn Was such a pleasant employee to worm with!! She gave me all the information I needed for my stay and went above and beyond with her customer service. She was so kind and made this process super easy for me during my stay. Thank you!!

Clean, quiet and spacious room! Jocelyn was very sweet on arrival, upgraded our room to the romantic hot tub and checked in on us to make sure we had a everything we needed. Would stay again!

Fanny at breakfast room is so nice! She helped us prepared the waffle and asked us if we needed anything. We felt so welcomed 🥰 will definitely visit again if got chance.

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times before and I give it 5 stars! The rooms are very clean and large. Not to mention, the rooms I stayed in had jacuzzi’s inside! So cool. The staff is super friendly and the breakfast area is very nicely organized and displayed. They have a parking lot for your convenience. I highly recommend this hotel.
