Great store to shop in! Have been going since my teens when they had East Coast Marketplace stores in Spfld,MA. Always a bargain. Some great pet products,beds and overstock top name pet foods and treats. Birdseed. Super cheap bullies for dogs in the front of store in Peterboro. Polar sodas and all kinds of treats. Sweet breads. Love getting Amaryllis bulbs during the holiday season for gifts. Lots of coffee and pantry items. 'Crazy deals" are awesome too! Their outdoor plants are healthy and great deals on perennials

If you like a good find, this store is for you. Great, somewhat random selection of products you need and some didn't know you needed. Crazy deals give you up to 100% back in store credit on select items. As an overstock store, you have to have realistic expectations about what may or may not be in stock. Most of the times I find more than I am looking for not less

For the Hocus Pocus lovers, when we went, they had dish towels and oven mitts with the theme! I, of course, had to get both! The ovdn mitts work amazingly (although they take a bit to get used to since they are not normal oven mitts). There was a large variety of different items! The restrooms were also very clean. Staff was very friendly and got us through the line swiftly and efficiently! Highly recommend!

They carry an eclectic assortment of foods, clothes, garden goods, tools.

They have a section where they put food that is coming up to the expiration date but if you buy at least $10 of them, they give you a gift card equal to the cost of the expiring food, so basically free.

Lots of good items with cheap prices lots of good deals. Love my big frying pan from there it can cook up to 5 lbs of hamburger meat it's only $20 for the pan just had to get a new one it lasted 8 years till I let someone borrow it and they burnt it lol. But they have lots of different stuff like clothes, food, toys, crafts, tools and lots more

Good store very friendly place, great variety fantastic bargains.

Store was nice, clean and fairly organized. Employees were friendly and helped when needed. Only thing I would say would be a negative would be they need more sizes in some of the coats, but I understand they don't carry all items regularly. Other than that, I'd say the store was good to go.

The old Joblot as I call it is an excellent, family run retail business that grew out of the surplus merchandise business. I can not tell you how many items that I have gotten for free from this chain. Their Crazy Deals are just that and usually result in free or greatly reduced prices on merchandise. You can even get a multi thousand dollar, professional, full body massage chair for free at this store, it's truly amazing! Their charity programs are second to none and they compel me to buy merchandise like shoes and coats for veterans and homeless people. I always do because it cost's me nothing, I get reimbursed for every dollar I spend with a store credit card of equal value! They also have programs where you can pick from a variety of charities including women's and children's programs, animal rescue, homeless, vets, etc. You contribute and they give you a store credit card equal to the value of your donation! This family is know for their charity and not only do they support many, many causes, they pay for their customers to do the same! This is unheard of and it compels me to shop here for as long as they are in business. Even more than the compulsion to get some awesome deals for myself is the respect that I have for this family to support local communities with my assistance which costs me nothing. That also inspires me to contribute my own money to help their various causes. I don't think that there has ever been another retailer in my life quite like Ocean State Job Lot. It's the original surplus retail store here in New England and now elsewhere and still the best by far! Definitely a customer for life. Thank You, Thank You!

Found everything that I needed and more! They are short staffed and people were complaining that they had to wait , so impatient and rude! Customers need to be understanding, which they are not! Staff was awesome and handled the situation very professionally! Great store and staff!!!

I love to shop the deals at ocean state. You just need to know that these are products that are sold for a lot less and usually arrive in bulk orders. There are some regular things that are there each week but a lot of times these things come and go and are available for short amount of time.

Honestly I thought this was going to be a dead end store filled with dusty boxes and a staff stumbling around like Zombies in a George Romero flick but to much of my amazement I had great luck in this store, found items I needed some I thought you couldn't find again and some worth coming back for especially for valentine's day, 7 foot stuffed teddy bear? Yes they have that. Inflatable giant Sean for the summer lake party yeah you'll find that there as well as everything else you may want at a decent price, check them out seriously.

Cheap and simple but it has some nice stuff for a good price.. Only place I've been in lately that still has all cotton clothing.. Like shirts and pajamas , and underthings.. Great sock section too.. A little of everything really.. Got some lovely metal tables for our plants not too long ago, and they have great seasonal towels for the beach.. And nice towels for general use..

Checked out this store while visiting family in Peterborough and ended up spending more than an hour looking around. Picked up several things during 20% off time. Cashier, Christopher, was very kind and friendly, which was greatly appreciated.

Awesome discounts and the membership they have is rewarding and free! They have good snacks and some of the products they sell are very unique, ie: blankets handmade in Nepal. There is also a really nice employee team at the one in Peterborough, NH.

It was my first-time at the Ocean State Job Lot... the staff was friendly. They had large variety of everything. I also found a gift for my good friend!

The osjl in milford is great. The store is clean and well kept. Usually has sales items clearly marked. The nashua store is usually the same way. Peterborough store is right up there too. Great company to do business with.
