Samcycle Electric Bikes

I took my nephew here to purchase a new bike. He had one from Amazon that was nothing but trouble and is not serviceable at local shops. Samcycle had a great selection and Matt took his time to explain the features of each bike. After testing riding 4 bikes, my nephew decided which one he liked best. We never felt rushed or pressured. I’m so glad that my nephew has a reliable bike from a local business where he will be able to have it serviced when needed. Thanks Matt for the incredible customer service and helping Ben find the best bike to fit his needs!

Got gifted an electric bike from here and I stopped in to get a lock for it. I'm a brand new bike owner and I not only was recommended a great lock, but the team walked me through how to use it and had me practice a few times to ensure I felt comfortable. My parents also bought their bikes from this shop and my mom mentioned they did the same thing for her when she bought a bike rack for their car. Just genuinely nice people with great customer service.

I needed a fork replacement.. a bike that I did not buy from these guys. They knew exactly how to take care of it.

I brought in the replacement set of forks and within three days I had the bike back working in excellent condition.

They also performed brake pad replacement and I can tell you that they're a fantastic company with great employees and the pricing is spot-on.

I would definitely recommend these guys for any repairs or purchase of a new e-bike

Samcycle is awesome and so are e-bikes. Bought two Blix bikes from them 4 years ago and are still entirely happy with them. Their customer service is top notch. Anything we need and they are there for us and just plain nice too.

Wow!! Bought an Elux Malibu step-through e-bike and I’m loving it. I worked with Matt and he set me up. I have a current e-bike I bought online from Urtopia which I’m returning asap. In then 7 days I’ve had the Urtopia I’ve had nothing but problems and no dealers willing to service it.

This is a family-owned shop, and the owners couldn't be any nicer! I ordered a bike from a company that delivers to the shop. It was a very long process, but Matt was always there to offer guidance. I got the feeling that they really believe in the products that they sell, and they are looking for their customers to have the best experience possible, without trying to overcharge. 1000% recommended!!

Samcycle was a life saver. My E-Bike was down & out pedal assist not working. After talking with numerous bike shops who stated they either don't work on E-Bikes at all or take the bike back to where you purchased it. That was impossible as the place I bought it from was no longer in business. Matt & Tom are brothers & only work on E-Bikes. Matt looked at my E-Bike & said it might be a dirty speed sensor. It apparently was exactly that as it turned out. Matt ordered the part from Fuji installed the part cleaned up & detailed the bike. Price was absolutely reasonable for all the work done. The bike looked like new again. Works great! Matt is terrific & very knowledgeable about all E-Bikes & doesn't care if you bought from him or not just call him & bring in your E-bike. You won't be sorry you did. Thanks Matt for helping me out. Please stay in business so I know who & where you are for all my future work.

To know what an Electric Bike is words just don't do it. This shop is very friendly excellent variety of cycles reasonably priced and rentals . The location gets you on a great riding trail minutes from the shop at the Deer Grove forest preserve, honestly riding E bikes is effortless and super fun. Can't say enough good things about them.

E-bikes are a blast. They have a nice parking lot to ensure you understand the controls before leaving. If you love it, they will apply rental fees towards a purchase.
