Been with other dentist for years and now the last 9 years with Doctor Painless ! (Hillesheim) I can’t even begin to tell how good he is and his folks in the office are all outstanding people! My cleanings take a hour just so there perfect! The Doctor goes above and beyond to do the best work you will ever have done by anyone else - nobody has all his hi tech equipment- and again the lady’s in the office have become friends just because they are so sweet and caring! So if you need a “painless” Dentist this is your man!

I have been going to Dr. Hillesheim for 20 years, he is one of the best dentists around, period. He is very honest and has a great doctor-patient relationship with all his patients. He is extremely caring, actually listens to your concerns, explains everything in detail, and answers any questions you might have. His office manager, Jennifer and his assistant Paula are super friendly and always make you feel welcome. This is truly a wonderful family practice. I highly recommend!

Palatine Family Dental is a great dental practice. Dr. Hillesheim and his staff are always very helpful whenever I have questions, and are thorough in their explanations. I am always able to work with Jennifer to find a time for an appointment that works well with my schedule. When I show up for my appointment, I do not have to wait long to get started, which makes it very convenient if you have a busy day planned. I never feel rushed when in an appointment, and I always leave feeling confident that all of my questions have been answered. I know that when I go to Palatine Family Dental, I will be interacting with a very friendly, knowledgeable, and intelligent staff. Dr. Hillesheim took care of my son’s abscessed tooth. He reached out to my son after business hours, immediately got him on an antibiotic and scheduled an appointment first thing the next morning. Following the procedure, Dr. Hillesheim did an outstanding job with a crown, carefully matching the color of the enamel to the surrounding teeth. In addition to being an superb craftsman and caring dental professional, his office staff is friendly and client-oriented. A friend of mine referred me to Dr. Hillesheim and I was thrilled to have finally found a good dentist. He replaced a filling for me and I was really happy with the result. However, at my last visit I was treated so rudely by him for being 10 minutes late (which I apologized profusely to the hygienist for), that I will not return. After looking at my teeth, he told me "OK, now we need you to get out of here, we have people waiting. Maybe next time you'll be on time." WOW. I don't know if I caught him on an off day or what, but if that's how he treats his patients, I don't want to be one of them.
