Lina Garcia is by far the best dentist I've ever been to. They educate their patients around holistic health and how your overall health and dental health are linked. They take a more comprehensive approach asking about your hormones, stress, nutrition and more. They go above and beyond in every way.

Thanks for bringing this much needed perspective into the health arena and making you community healthier, stronger and aware.

Dr Garcia is a miracle dentist! She has saved me from a dentist who killed by tooth with a crown and she so expertly and patiently and lovingly pulled it out. It was so seamless I didn’t even know it happened. The recovery has been great, no pain, no need for meds.
All other things she’s done for me have also been done with this level of care. She truly cares holistically for her patients

I had two failed bridges, a dental infection and was on the verge of losing a lot of teeth when I first visited Dr. Garcia two years ago. I had almost given up hope, but when I was greeted incredibly warmly by Dr. Garcia and her staff, my hope was renewed and I have not been disappointed. I have my dental health and my smile back thanks to them. Dr. Garcia addresses your dental and related health issues, while taking into account your concerns and helping you regain or maintain the best smile possible. I doubt you will find a more intelligent, talented, trustworthy and empathetic dentist anywhere. I travel all the way from western Canada to visit Dr. Garcia and it is totally worth it. It is actually a pleasure to visit Dr. Garcia.

Extremely knowledgeable, kind, compassionate and precise. We went to another dentist before Dr. Garcia and it was terrible. I am so glad we made the right choice to see Dr. Garcia. She is the only dentist I trust now with my family's dental care.

Coming from someone with very BAD anxiety I had a very nice visit. Lina Garcia was an absolute angel along with everyone on staff. She was extremely gentle. You won't regret making an appointment with her.

This is a unique practice. While holistic dentistry is new to me, it makes perfect sense. I learn so much at each visit, which is a huge value add. I don’t choose to go to an average dentist, because I don’t seek average health. I don’t want toxic products used in my mouth, or my children’s mouths. I am willing to pay the premium and go the distance required for exceptional service and uncompromised quality of care. I understand it is not easy to provide this sort of care, because it’s unconventional, and may even be viewed as radical. But that’s what I want- radical, awesome health, much much greater than just average. I realize there are few who truly know better and devote to providing the best for their clientele, where non toxic options are standard, not special requests. Happy to have found this office, and confidently refer my friends and family.

I will be filing complaints with the Illinois dental Society, Illinois Department of dental professionals, and the American Society for dentists.

My wife called Dr. Garcia this past Thursday afternoon for me in a dental emergency. While in excruciating pain and with the inability to think we were told we could come I could come in that day @5 or the following Friday in the morning.

You we called back within a few minutes to schedule appointment for the same day at 5 PM. Within 15 minutes we were called back by Dr. Garcia’s office and told we cannot come until Monday at 7 AM but they wanted to secure a partial payment.

While this seemed oddly enough for a dentist. Being that pain, you will capitulate with the inability to think. We were told that it should be around $190. And moments of that level of pain, you don’t think clearly, and one just tries to move towards solving the problem.

We were not instructed on what to do for pain and or anything from there. Just we’ll see you Monday.

Once anti-inflammatories were able to kick in, and I was able to think clearly. $190 for a deposit seemed astronomical and the fact that they told a person in excruciating pain to wait four days completely blew my mind.

Only to find out they charged my card $290. Unbelievable this predatory company was going to try to charge me close to $3000 to have a tooth extracted. And I’m sure the pricing was because of a medical emergency emergency.

No, the reason my wife had contacted Them is because we had taken our two children there for a dental cleaning.

While my wife was there with the children. Who is epileptic had a seizure at their facility. They did not seek medical attention, nor did they call medical professionals, or an ambulance for my wife’s benefit.

Obviously, at the time we called, this was not a thought, or on the radar due to the amount of pain that I was in.

Again, not able to think clearly due to the level of pain and ear. It was causing., We made a bit of a blunder by contacting this office to begin with…

Obviously, the next move is to cancel your appointment.

We did this during half hours through an email, because I don’t have the ability to talk very well.

We received an email back insulting us. Telling us that it would’ve originally been 1900 and now somehow the bill was $2900 and that is why they charged us $290

They then explained how they’re going to keep our deposit. They did not address the blatant lie associated with the cost. They never had authorization to charge $290 to my credit card that is fraudulent.

And one of her other reviews, she has contacted her previous patient to try to pay/bribe him to remove a negative Google review.

This is probably the reason that Dr. Garcia only has nine reviews now 10 and 20% of them are horrible.

I question how many bad reviews has she bought and paid people to remove?

When you look at most Dennis reviews they generally have over 100.

Financial predators

Lina Garcia's expensive and poor workmanship on a crown for my back molar and her subsequent handling of the situation raises a warning flag for me to alert others. I mentioned problems with my bite which she ignored for 2+ years. It knocked and hit other teeth inconsistently over 2 years before it became painfully obvious as the source of increasing pain. Dr. Garcia's expert advisement was PULL THE TOOTH RIGHT NOW, $$$$$. I suspected something was not right about this and saw another DDS same day, between patients, he took a pano xray to explain and clearly show Dr. Garcia made an overly large and poorly shaped crown. Within 15 minutes the other dentist reshaped that crown and we agreed he would put a new crown on later... he couldn't guarantee the tooth wasn't damaged so we waited. He re-did her work and it is still perfect. No root canals involved. No further problem. The state board of Illinois intervened to help me get money back from Dr. Garcia. She was unintelligible and hysterical to deal with by phone. She eventually only refunded half of what I paid. Claiming her special cavitation procedures was not part of the crown. She also insisted I remove previous reviews of her work on Facebook and speak with the dentist who solved the problem she created. She claimed she wanted to learn from him, but spent that time promoting and defending herself rather than listening. I should have seen the earlier red flags when she included costs for video of live bacteria in my mouth as part of a standard check. She also likely hopes I forgot she once cancelled an appointment with her after I'd arrived (a 55 minute drive) and gave me toothpaste as consolation. Painful & Expensive Lesson Learned: Avoid extremists like her in all things. Find a real dentist who specializes and loves dentistry, and respects you as a patient with your own preferences and limitations for health ... without a piano in the office, toothpaste and rinse brands to up-sell, dietary opinions, recipes, celebrity-seeking ... and someone who doesn't have a shameless self-promoting agenda. I will NEVER forget.
