Thank you Huntsville library for being available for everyone. It is such a beautiful building and has wonderful and kind staff. I lived here in 2004 and would come so often, now that I am back I am so grateful for the library again. The books are organized great, lots of large print books of a variety of authors for people sight impartial as myself. I am going to be back soon as I finish my 4 I checked out today. 📚

The downtown library is a great place to check out books to read. I usually request a book on their web site first in case it needs to be sent from a different library location. Always plenty of parking.

I am disabled and getting out has gotten harder for me. I loved going to the library frequently, and now my grown children continue to love going to the library. I have them pick up my books that I have requested online, and I love this option for getting my books. Everyone who works at the library has always been so nice and helpful. Books are expensive, especially on a fixed income, and I am so grateful our library is so great.

Helpful staff and nice atmosphere. They have a good collection of print, ebooks, and audiobooks. I was pleasantly surprised when they purchased a number of book suggestions I made as well. I save so much money using our local libraries.

One stop print shop! I know people think of libraries as just books but this is a fantastic place to go for basic print jobs. Their prices are reasonable and, once you know what you're doing, you can be in and out in no time. And they cannot be beat for notary services. I've never found anywhere else more affordable to get a document notarized. I've never come here and had a bad experience. Love this library!

One of the best, most active libraries in the state. Great collections, from kids' to historical archives. Good place to concentrate, too.

This is one of the biggest and nicest libraries I have ever been too! There is 2 floors with a slew of books, and there are almost TOO many to choose from. They have plenty of computers to use with printing capabilities although there is a very small fee for copies. There are local artists displays of paintings and photographs that are sold through the Artists, most of whom who work and display at The Lowe's Mill art collective on Seminole Drive off of Governor's Drive. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are also DVD'S and CD'S to check out in many different genres. They also have basic computer classes they offer routinely. I know that I have missed some other activities they provide for children as my kids are in their 30's. It's a wonderful place to visit and get a Library card if reading for pleasure or learning new information is one of your interests!

I love the library. But I will say I don't like what the transient situation has done to the main library in Huntsville. It hasn't been vibrant or welcoming in years. Seems more like a warehouse now. They took out all the comfortable chairs and furniture. People hanging out outside asking for money until they get asked to leave the property. It's just not as warm and inviting as it used to be. -- But the services the library has and offer are the greatest.

It was great, hours are good, you can drink in the building. It has a bus outside. And they gave me a guest library card that lasts for 3 years that I can pretty much use all day if I want to. They were friendly and helpful. Thank you for being here

Our library is wonderful. There's always a vibrant feel any time I enter the door - with used books for sale, posters announcing upcoming events for all ages, displays of new books, and lots of conversations about reading taking place. When I'm traveling, I swing by on my way out of town for audio books for the car and the latest novels to read in my hotel room. The staff is incredibly helpful, and they never make me feel they don't have time for me - although it's easy to see how busy they are with all the many activities there. When I taught school, I met my student there each year to get them started on research papers, and there were always lots of materials and plenty of assistance. Readers of Huntsville are very fortunate!

This library is AMAZING!!! My 12year old son and I were in awe when we first arrived to the building. We ended up spending TWO HOURS here!! We just moved to the area and it's so awesome to know that there is such a wonderful library to go to. So much history all in one place! Everyone was so helpful and very nice. Today we received our library cards and there was also a ¢.25 book sale happening! You can also do your ancestry family tree in the heritage room! Five stars all day long :)

I love my Library! All the branches are full of amazing librarians ready to help you find your next read! However, the South Huntsville library might be my favorite- I may or may not be sitting in the Adult Reading room, sipping coffee from the Hatch Cafe!

I love this library, been coming here my whole life and it's always been amazing, plus they are always adding new things. Very organized, very clean, and has a great staff. My personal fav is the newer comic section, the guy who is in charge of comics/graphic novels does an amazing job.

I love this library. They have everything you need. You can even rent hotspots to take home. They also have laptops you can use while in the library. Once you get a library card you can check out upto 50 items at a time. They staff is also very nice and always helpful.

I went to the Huntsville branch to register my granddaughter for school. A wonderful employee by the name of Jake assisted me on the computer. I had worked in the library system for several years and I have to say I have never received such awesome customer service! You are so fortunate to have Jake! By the way I already knew how awesome he was.
