Sam & Greg's Pizzeria/ Gelateria Huntsville

Ordered sweet and spicy bbq pizza (10”) online. It was ready fast and tasted great! The bread knots did not have quite enough flavor for me, but I’m sure they’d be good with sauce (I’m just not a huge fan of marinara sauce so didn’t use that). Cool atmosphere in the restaurant and in the outdoor seating.

Sam and Greg's, nestled in downtown by the court house pleasantly surprised me with its unassuming charm and exceptional pizza offerings. The cozy ambiance and inviting decor set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

The pizza was wonderful. My 3 year old grandson loved the cheese pizza. Prices are not too bad. We loved the little indoor glow in the dark golf course upstairs.

This is a quaint pizza/ gelato place that does NOT disappoint! We had the pizza, and it was very good! The crust was crispy, and the sauce was really good. We finished with the coffee gelato, such a fantastic end to ac terrific dinner. If you're downtown, it is a must try!

Bottom line: Sam & Greg’s is an outstanding location for pizza, fun with the kids, and a chat over a beer with whomever.

Atmosphere: Encourages communication with the art, decor, and activities for the kids.

Food: Excellent for a family on a budget. I haven’t seen a better “local” restaurant in Huntsville.

My entire family LOVES this place. It's usually never packed so it's quiet most of the time and aesthetically pleasing! There are hand-painted pictures and nice artwork to look at as well! Each table is designed based off of a specific theme. For example, Harry Potter, Alice in wonderland, sports, superheroes, history, etc. So many types of different pizzas to choose from that I had never heard of before! Really good ice cream and they even have spiked shakes for the adults if you plan on staying a while! There's an upstairs with a skylight and a downstairs as well. Pay $3 when you come in and you can play Putt-Putt in a neon galaxy room located in the same place that you dine so you can keep an eye on your children at all times! Bathrooms are always clean. If you feel like dining outside, they usually have chalk on the picnic tables outdoors in downtown so you can let your kids draw on the concrete while you sit down and eat! We find it pretty convenient location wise as well. If you're walking around downtown and want somewhere to stop and take a break, this is definitely the place. The only problem I have ever had with here is the drink machines upstairs seem to not get refilled often so your Coke might not be brown, but white instead! Haha. Drinks are available downstairs as well though so no big deal! It's also decently priced. Anytime someone visits from out of town, we always walk around downtown Huntsville and make sure to stop at Sam & Gregg's

I took a group of 25 high school students on a field trip today, and we went to Sam and Greg's for lunch. I sent our orders ahead of time, and everything was ready almost immediately upon our arrival. The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, and my students and I are very grateful for the wonderful experience!

This was a random find for me but so amazing 😍 I loved everything! The food (good price and delicious,) the beer (nice selection of locals,) and the service was outstanding. Everyone was friendly even when they started getting busy they took time to check on people and make sure they had an easy time ordering.

Great pizza in a local hometown atmosphere. Crust, sauce and toppings were excellent quality. Fast service compliments the high quality food. Easily one of the top five pizzas in North Alabama. From the quirky light fixtures to the alien inspired putting area upstairs this is a family friendly restaurant with great food. First time for us here, but we will be back. Lots of tables so you don’t feel crowded. Very clean.

Had a friend go pick up some for a few of us, ive never had this place. It was so good, i had the pesto veggie flatbread.

Great selection of pizza and gelato among other things. Draft beer and a small wine selection. The staff is friendly and helpful to all. Better than any chain pizza place could ever hope to be!
Update: post pandemic they are as good as ever. Glad to be back!

This place is wonderful. Good staff, good pizza, good Gelato. Bar is fun and funky, being on center Square is great for havoc games or a random Tuesday for lunch.

AMAZING pizza in a cool spot downtown. Super affordable and a very cool atmosphere. Each table features some sort of art and it's a very fun place. The dough knots are the best!!! Highly recommend.

Sam & Greg's might be too cool for me. Homemade Gelato, craft beers, domestic and imported wines, excellent pizza, and black light mini golf all under one roof... It's the sort of business plan I might come up with if I was dying under too many blankets, but this place makes it work! Outstanding!

Feels like the old Sam and Greg's, but now with blacklight golf! 10/10 best meat lovers pizza in the south.

My granddaughter and I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.The gelato was amazing.

I like their new location it has lots of space. The pizza was good and the variety of Gelato was fantastic. All the staff members were very nice and helpful. I will definitely be back!

Once in a while I like to eat a good pizza, when in Huntsville I like Sam & Greg's Downtown Pizzeria. I limit my Dairy intake, so I asked the person who took the order to limit the cheese as much as possible without loosing the overall taste of the pie. The result was great, loved the pizza!

Tried the grapefruit-coconut home made ice cream and also delicious.

From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted with friendly faces. My son and I shared a deluxe pizza. The crust had an outstanding texture and taste. The pizza had plenty of toppings and overall was delicious. The place was busy but service was quick. We loved the older building and it just added to the experience. I would recommend this place to anyone who was passing through downtown Huntsville.

Great staff, pizza, and atmosphere. Didn't try the gelato, but it looks absolutely amazing with some neat flavors.

No prosecco, but they do have "champagne."
