Rolo's Cafe

Everyone in my group loved their food. We had a variety of items such as pot roast, catfish, hamburger, chicken and dumplings, and country fried steak. Everything looked and tasted delicious. The server was very kind and attentive even though we came in 30 minutes before closing.

My plate had some other food items prior to the photo. Thought about it after everyone started raving about their food.

This place is absolute fire! Amazing country food! I got the pot roast, mashed potatoes and fried okra. My friends got the chicken and dressing! It is all soooo good! We will definitely be back for more! I can't wait to try their breakfast! Also the prices are definitely reasonable, and the portions are large!

I liked this place. Everything was pretty great diner food. We got breakfast and liked it. Cinnamon rolls were really good. Definitely will go back.

Very good place. It makes me miss my grandparents because they used to take me to get this type of food a lot when I was younger. Delicious simple foods, especially the mashed potatoes, like I grew up eating. Prices are excellent as well. I will definitely be coming back here frequently to eat. Next time I'll be trying the peach cobbler!

Update:
The peach cobbler is also delicious, although I wish it had more peaches and less "bread". Sometimes it's s little too runny as well.

Breakfast is great. I got the French toast, bacon, and biscuit and sausage gravy. My boyfriend got the pancakes with bacon. Everything was good. I really liked the biscuit and sausage gravy. And the pancakes were really fluffy and moist and delicious.

They used to have a chocolate gravy biscuit, that was really good, but unfortunately they don't sell that one anymore.

Great service.....especially Stephanie. Get the business man special for breakfast. Employee owned....great customer attitude. The biggest hurdle is trying to pay....the have a cumbersome way to pay that takes forever.

We had dessert first. Carrot and Mississippi mud cake. Dinner was chicken and dressing (could use more chicken) fried okra, mashed potatoes, and pinto beans. Buttermilk cornbread, not the sweet kind. Very good dinner. Friendly owner and staff! True local restaurant!

Try the catfish, if you don't like them I'll eat em for you. This place is really good

First time dining here and no disappointments at all!! Prices are reasonable and the food is great! We will return, want to try breakfast

Good food at good prices. Our team went there for our Christmas lunch. It's a nice meat and veggie place. They had something for everyone.

I'm going to steal someone else's description because I feel it accurately describes this place, "It's like a local Cracker Barrel." I like Cracker Barrel. I like Rolo's. Have I ever been blown away by the food at Cracker Barrel? No. Was I blown away by Rolo's? No. That's not to say it wasn't good. It was good and I will probably be back when I get the craving for something southern.

I very rarely give 5 stars but they deserve it!!! The fried green tomatoes my Lord!!!! The service was amazing they were so friendly. The atmosphere gives you a mom and pop feel that makes you feel right at home. This was true authentic SOUTHERN cuisine. I plan to go back soon so I can try more things.

This is good ol' classic country food. No frills, good food.

Growing up in the south but acquiring a more diverse food pallette as I've gotten older, it's always nice to have something that reminds you of home. This food reminds me of the kind of food you'd get at a covered dish at your local small town church.

The service was nice and friendly. I had the famous 8 hour pot roast, greens, and mac and cheese. The flavor was there. The prices were pretty cheap compared to everything else nowadays.

If you want a good no frills country meal, support local and go to Rolos.

Very good!! I got pot roast this go around, and it was delicious!! I always struggle and go back and forth between roast and chicken and dressing but I think the pot roast is the better of the 2! Always a great atmosphere, very welcoming and homey feeling. Every employee is sweet as can be, especially my daughter!! 🤣😍

The waitresses are very friendly; food is always good. Excellent service, great food can't beat it.

You can't beat the quality or the price. I'm glad the train is still chugging around the tracks after all these years and my kids get to enjoy it while eating like I did.

First time dining at Rolo's Cafe. Our server (Stephanie) was very nice and extremely efficient; taking care of several other guests within our seating area. We were there for breakfast and it did not disappoint; pancakes, country fried steak, eggs, bacon, grits & biscuits.....Southern-style cookin' at it's finest, and at very reasonable prices! We have family coming in for an upcoming visit and we'll definitely be taking them to Rolo's. Having just moved to Alabama from Utah, we now have a solid choice for breakfast. Great job everyone; see y'all again, soon!

It was slow getting our food but they was short staffed and it was very busy. Food was very good and the servers was very nice.

Always love going to rolos restaurant, great food every time of the day. I get the chicken and dressing,okra, and baked beans,and a roll. It's like going home to Grandma !

If you're looking for a great place to eat with a downhome feel, you owe it to yourself to visit ROLO's. My family and I recently visited for the first time. There were four of us in all, and everyone talked about how much they enjoyed their meals. We also had a chance to talk to the owner about the railroad decor throughout the restaurant. Being a model railroading buff, I was thrilled at the chance to watch the model train in the ceiling, circle the track.

The staff was inviting, attentive, and polite. The menu offers a range of choices for just about everyone.

If you're in the area, roll on over to ROLO's. You'll roll out happy that you did so.
