Best Western Troy Hotel

There are five different hotels in the intersection of I-55 and IL-162. I've stayed at all of them and this is my favorite hotel by far. I have stayed at this Best Western at least 50 times in the last 13 years, when I am in town visiting family. The staff treat me like I'm an old friend. Check in is super easy. The beds are nicer than what I have at home. The accommodations are perfect. Each room has a small fridge, microwave, desk, coffee pot and sitting area. Shower pressure is perfect. Always clean. The complementary breakfast always hits the spot, and there is a Cracker Barrel across the street. Sometimes on busy weekends, there's a lot of noise in the parking lot from people coming and going, so my recommendation is to request one of the upper floors. All the hotels at this intersection are close to the interstate, so if you are sensitive to noise, best to stay on the west end of the hotel. All in all, it is definitely my home away from home.

We stayed in a room which slept 6 people, which had a bunk bed off one of the sides, which was a first I have seen, but was great! Breakfast was pretty basic, but had the staples of oatmeal, cereal, bread, yogurt, eggs, biscuits and gravy. Pool was on the smaller side.

We had a wonderful weekend get away staying in a suite at your hotel. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable and pillows were great. Breakfast was hot and very good. Every employee we encountered was very nice.

We were denied a room in Pontoon Beach with Best Western because we didn't live at least 50 miles away. Thankful your business doesn't go by this rule. Because of their rule you've gained our business.

I scheduled my Best Western--so I thought!--for Sunday, September 3rd. Turns out, while planning my 2100 mile cross-country drive that I inadvertently scheduled for Saturday, September 2nd. When I arrived on Sunday, as a consequence, they had no record of my reservation. I gave her my confirmation number and that's when the mistake was realized. So, I went ahead a scheduled as I still needed a room. I asked about a refund but needed to speak with the manager when she returned on Wednesday. Though the mistake was my fault, they issued me a refund. Be sure to always deal directly with the hotel's management as these properties are independently owned. Concerns and complaints sent directly to Best Western may result in the property being fined for not addressing an issue or not addressing an issue promptly. I highly recommend this property!

A little awkward to get to once off the highway in the dark. Thank goodness for GPS. Close to restaurants. We arrived after 8pm and the pool was full of young people so we didn't get to enjoy the pool or fitness center. Breakfast was very simple.

Stayed one night booked suite with bunk beds and jetted tub. However there's not a jetted tub, although the bathroom and overall room was clean. The bunk beds were an added bonus. The pool was nice and the breakfast had hot and cold options. I will stay here next time I'm traveling near the area.

The hotel is right off the highway near plenty of restaurants and gas stations. The staff member who checked us in Friday night was super friendly and amazingly helpful in our stay. The breakfast was hot and delicious. Plenty of choices. The beds were comfortable and the elevator was fast. The pool had great hours and the kids loved it. The shower pressure was great and the mini kitchen was a nice touch.

Reggie and Ashley were amazing at checking us in and out and super nice. Great people to talk to. Loved the family suite. My kids loved the bunk bed. Way better service here than Pontoon Beach. Definitely recommend this hotel when passing through.

Very nice newer facility with comfortable rooms

Staff was nice and they had free breakfast. The pool was clean and the water was warm. The covers were clean, but a little stained. The curtains also had stains. Overall, a great place to stay.

My family and I had an unexpected stay at this hotel when a freeway closure stopped us from coming home. The hotel was immaculate and the hotel staff was more than accommodating. They were very hospitable and kind. The breakfast was amazing! Everything was neat and labeled. The hotel workers made sure breakfast went on without a hitch. We did not have any issues or complaints during our stay. The receptionist upon check in was great! He was very easy to talk to and made us feel welcome. Checking in and out was a breeze! They printed and emailed me a receipt. Hands down best stay in a hotel yet. We will definitely be staying there again when we travel through!

we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We had the family suite, which has 2 queen beds, a bunk bed, 2 chairs, 2 televisions, and a whirlpool tub. It was so nice to have the extra room since there were 4 adults in this room. No one felt like they were intruding in someone else's space. The room was clean. Very friendly staff. Pool was enjoyable. We had a slow drain and was fixed very quickly. The location of this hotel is great-Easy access to the interstate. Would recommend to everyone.

FANTASTIC!!! Me and my husband stay at MANY hotels due to our leadership company conventions. We have experienced the good, the bad and the ugly...THIS HOTEL IS THE "AWESOME"!! We had our first family vacation in about 7 years, this past week with our 11 yr old daughter and 10 yr old son. From the super friendly greeting from the desk clerk, Reggie, to the attendants cleaning our rooms(so wonderfully!!) to the delicious, full breakfast and the super fun pool, we had an AMAZING time!! The rooms were impeccable, the beds SUPER comfortable and the bathrooms were very spacious! We LOVED having an extra counter and sink in the living area along with many cupboards to put our food! We also love having a microwave and mini fridge in the room!! I just CANNOT express the the gratitude we have for the waitstaff!! They MADE our vacation!! THANK YOU!!! We WILL be back!!

I stayed here 1/11/22 in the king suite with jacuzzi tub. The tub was very large and jets worked great for my muscles after a long day of relaxing. After reading people's recent negative reviews I considered going elsewhere. They are either chronic complainers or expecting a Best Western to be a Ritz Carlton. Room was perfectly clean and bed was very comfortable. Only cost $100 for the best room they offer. 5/5 ps. I left a picture of shampoo AND conditioner because somebody said they ONLY received conditioner....

We were halfway thru driving to AR when our dog became gravely ill and required emergency surgery (shout out to Hawthorne Animal Hospital). Once we got her in and scheduled, we needed a place to stay. The young woman behind the desk (I'm so sorry I didn't get her name) was so kind and compassionate when I told her our story. She never missed an opportunity to inquire after our pet and to offer words of encouragement. The room was clean and functional, it was quiet, and the breakfast was good. It was a good choice.

Spent the weekend here. 2 nights. Friendly staff. Lobby and hallway areas were all clean and odor free... everything well maintained. Pool area was clean and they had a good breakfast too. Pancakes, sausage, eggs, juice and much more. I’m pretty sure the hotel has been renovated within the last couple of years. Everything was updated. Our room was clean and the carpet and furniture seemed fairly new. All white bedding in our room which I liked because you could actually see that it was clean. Bathroom was clean. No complaints. Fair $ rate. In a good area. We felt safe there. Several fast food places, gas stations and restaurants close by. Cracker Barrel right across the street. Took us about 20-25 minutes to get to Arch in ST Louis (not a bad drive at all).

Everything is in excellent condition: room, lobby, pool, which is indoors. Very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Beds are very comfortable. Room was not cramped. They offer full breakfast but, unfortunately, we had to leave before it started. Will definitely return if we go back to the area.

Very nice hotel with hot breakfast and very good customer service. We booked a reservation and got the date wrong by one day. The manager was great and accepted our explanation of our mixup on the date, which was all our fault. Very good experience there and will definitely stay again on our way to MN.

Great hotel, it was close to many fast food options as well as Joe's pizza. The room as clean bed was comfortable and the ac worked great. Breakfast was good , they had a pancake machine instead of a waffle maker, my wife loves it. We will stay here again.

Stayed here last night as we were just going through the state- amazing hotel & staff! Worked with Shawn at the front desk who was very helpful & kind, room was very clean & smelled good, the bathroom floor was SHINING it was so clean! The breakfast was great & the breakfast lady (forgot to get her name) was so sweet & kind & very helpful with our kids at breakfast, even came to our table to pour our chocolate milk for them!! Im not sure if I've ever stayed at a best western before but I'll certainly watch for them in towns from now on!
