Huntsville Hospital Medical Mall

I love that Huntsville has a Medical Mall; it's a great place to have routine tests performed or bloodwork orders filled. They have a pharmacy on site as well as a gym and barber. The location is great as well, just off Memorial Parkway on Governors Drive SW.

I have yet to have a bad experience; employees are super helpful and courteous. I highly recommend this location!

Got blood work done very easy going! Staff was really nice as well! Did not like that the seating there seemed enclosed.

We had an appointment for 1140am and were back and being prepped by that time. My guys veins are incredibly hard to find and it usually can't be done without a vein finder. Mischa found it and only poked him once. No bruises! Ask for Mischa :)

Chris and Misha in the lab were absolutely delightful. Misha was knowledgeable and Chris was quick with his blood draw skills. Not to mention their kindness. If you have to get poked I highly recommend getting the work here, everyone has always been friendly each time!

I went for labs today, Saturday morning, and checked in on the kiosk at 9:22. The estimated wait time was 50 minutes. I sat down and waited in a full lobby (people were waiting in the hall too). I waited as the workers called people back as quickly as possible. I sat and watched as people went up to the counter, complained about the wait, asked about bills that the workers cannot change or tell them what codes were billed out and help those who were confused about what they needed to do. I sat and watched as all the workers brought patients back with a smile and an apology, “I’m so sorry about your wait”. None of the workers were rude to the patients and they genuinely were doing their very best. I was called back around 10:05 and left at 10:15. The girl who drew my labs was sweet and efficient. They seemed short staffed, but they never let that affect their service.

I was there for lab work. 5 stars were earned by my phlebotomist, Breonna. I barely even felt the needle, and she made the whole thing seem pleasant.

My son had to have blood work drawn last week and was very nervous. The ladies taking care of him were very fun and sweet and made him relaxed. The set-up they have now is very efficient for labs at least. We were in and out in ten minutes tops. I was very impressed.

This review is entirely about the lab services. I wish we could divide this up, as having one cumulative review summary about the whole mall is not very useful. For example, if I were going to a normal mall for the Bass Pro Shop, why would I care how good the Bath and Bodyworks or the AMC are? In the same way here, if I'm going to get my blood drawn, what do I care about how much people like the imaging center? (It is also kind of funny how it is called a mall. I imagine going to each "store" and doing their tests as I walk along.)

I was called to the room. My nurse was quiet, either tired (I came in the evening, so who knows how long she had been on the clock already) or introverted like me. Certainly not in a cold way. But she counted down and then inserted the needle, and I barely felt it. But that's not the amazing part. I was answering questions for the other nurse in the room (who was super friendly!), and when she found out I was on new insurance, the nurse drawing my blood told me she would need my card. I was confused because it sounded like they wanted it now, but I was thinking 'Is it safe to reach into my pocket with a needle in my arm?' Then i looked down... She had taken out the needle and bandaged me up without me even noticing.

Unmatched talent. All I can say. And this is coming from someone who gets his blood tested monthly. I wish I had gotten her name to give her the proper credit and maybe even contact the hospital higher-ups for a formal compliment. But I will in time... I will be back.

P.s. in terms of wait time, from the time I waited in my car to the time I left was about 20 minutes.

My mother and I had a wonderful experience with both registration and imaging staff. My elderly mother believed that she had been scheduled for her test at the Medical Mall, but should have been at the Main hospital. Rachel in registration went out of her way to reassure my mother who was quite upset. She called and worked with the imaging center to get us seen at the Medical Mall and got all of our paperwork quickly taken care of and on to her CT scan. And everyone in the imaging department was also extremely efficient and caring. We will be scheduling all of my mother's appointments here!

I had to go to Imaging Excellence quite a few months ago, a few weeks ago and to the Medical Mall for something else today. Completely crazy how two different offices are handling the pandemic. At IE none of the staff wore masks, no hand sanitizer, no wiping stuff down and no 6 feet or anything! The Medical Mall had everyone wearing masks including the patients. Also, someone checked you in at the front, they wiped everything down, sanitizer everywhere and they treated everyone with kindness. Seriously like night and day! I highly recommend the Huntsville Medical Mall! I will be sure to request the Medical Mall in the future! Thank you!

Great staff...they really care. The cleaning lady at 1215 on 17 April in the Med Mall lab was a gem. She went and got a coloring book for a crying young girl...amazing. Only issue that could use attention is that at least two patient rooms have wall clocks that need replacing ...correct time in every professional work space contributes to staff efficiency as they do not have to rely on their phone for the time

Thank you to the front desk receptionist who helped me find another location where the wait was not over an hour. She kindly looked up all the locations and told me the number of people who are waiting in the lobby and gave me the addresses. Very helpful and kind.

Went to Med. Mall to get some blood drawn last week. The young lady that drew my blood was excellent. Her name was Laurrae and she was nice, polite, professional and knew what she was doing. I was kind of leary about going because the last time I went this gentleman used a straight needle and I felt pain in my in my left ac for weeks after that.

Best of the Best! Susan was marvelous and Kaitlyn was great. I definitely say this was Pretty good experience for Ctscan and Iv went awesome. Little discomfort but Susan didn't bruise me. She's great phlebotomist. Definitely recommend anyone to come here for best quality treatment.

Went for MRI of lower back. Very caring and accommodating staff from check in to conduct of evaluation. Extremely timely and informative MRI report.

Brought my mom in for a Ct scan. She's in a wheelchair.The RN Mary was kind and very good. The nice man brad went above and beyond to help me and my mom.thank you all for showing us respect and kindness.definetely recommend these people!

I love this place, and Dr. Sharp and his medical staff are wonderful. With an added perk of having a pharmacy there too, makes my visit more pleasant. Even though I feel like crap. :)

I went here to get some blood work done and the lab staff was super friendly and helpful, and they told me exactly what they were doing! They helped keep me calm even though I HATE needles!

The staff are very kind, knowledgeable and conscientious. From the people working the help desks to the medical staff I was made to feel welcome and taken care of by each person involved in my care.

The Medical Mall is well organized, efficient and professional. All of the staff are courteous and helpful!
