Zero complaints. Everyone from the tech to nurses to doctors were welcoming, comforting, and knowledgeable. I felt they were skilled in staying professional while providing a warm bedside manner. Thank you for an actually pleasant surgery & recovery experience.

I cannot begin to express my love and gratitude for everyone we encountered during my daughter’s surgery. From the Lady that works in the Cafe, the Lady that was working in the gift shop, the receptionist but I wanna send a very special thank you to the nurses, doctors and techs that we had in the surgery part of it. We had an amazing nurse. I can’t remember her name, but it was two names as her first name. She made both my daughter and I extremely comfortable And she got down on her level when it came to her understanding what was going on. They have a playroom for kids to play as they wait, they gave my daughter markers to color on her bed sheets to keep her busy, cartoons and last but certainly not least, she rode in a power wheel down the halls of the hospital into the OR. They helped comfort her with their service dog, Astro.. The overall experience was amazing and I can’t say that enough.

My 4yr old son had an outpatient dental procedure and I can’t say enough about the staffs kindness and patience with him. He actually had so much fun! Dr. Grishom and all staff, from start to finish, did an excellent job taking care of his needs and my nerves! Thank you for striving for excellence because we so do appreciate it!

It was my first time ever being there, I was nervous really. I had never had a procedure before and I didn’t know what to expect, but my experience was very pleasant. Nurses were very accommodating and very polite. I really appreciated how friendly they were being, especially with how early in the morning it was. They helped make the experience comforting. Procedure was super quick. Loved that. Really no complaints.

Erin was the first nurse and the only name I can remember, she was so kind and sweet. The OR nurses were also helpful and kind and made me feel safe and helped calm me down. Post op care was great, friendly and very hands on.

Jennifer was my nurse who started my IV & checked me in. She was very good at making me feel one hundred percent comfortable.
The surgery room had everyone helping me to get through the surgery process, faster than I expected. Kaylee, Dr. Nasiff’s PA, helped me feel at home as well!
Caroline was my nurse, after surgery! She also was very good at making me feel at home!
All in all. I am recommending my stay in the hospital, five stars!

Had a procedure done on February 27 and could not have been more satisfied by the experience I had. Granted, I have been fortunate and blessed enough that this was my first experience being a patient in a hospital of any kind in my 47 years on earth. That being said, everything went smoothly from check in, to pre-op, to procedure, check out and finally getting to go home. Every one of the staff that I personally dealt with from start to finish was courteous, had a great bedside manner, and I truly felt that they were all concerned about my well being. Now I have been to many doctors and dentists through the years where I didn't necessarily feel that way. Needless to stay I was very impressed and would just like to send a shout out and send a sincere thanks. Would have no problems going back for anything else. Keep up the great work you do. It is very appreciated!

Everyone there was super amazing!!! This was my first time having surgery and everyone there made it a comfortable experience for me. I do not recall a single time that I didn’t encounter what I would consider superb professionalism and bedside manner. Every single staff member involved in my care during my stay was absolutely amazing!! 10 out of 10 stars for sure!!!

Great experience from start to finish! Everything was on time and very efficient! The staff treated my daughter like royalty and all her fears were gone. Everyone we came in contact with was so kind. This was one of the best experiences with a hospital department we have ever had! Dr. Woodfin is top-notch, and I wish I remembered names so that I could personally thank the endoscopy staff (nurses, techs, anesthesia). They were all fantastic!

My son needed a renogram which had to be done at HH Main instead of Women’s and Children’s. The staff were superb. We endured a small wait time in which they allowed my 17 month old to run “freely” in external areas outside of the waiting room. They employed pediatric nurses to assist with the test and they were EXCELLENT. The anesthesiologist made himself relatable, which comforted us in this process as our baby required general anesthesia for this test. After the procedure, we were immediately allowed to take him home (no waiting) which was impeccably perfect given his “angry” reaction from anesthesia. I would choose HH 100x again over any other local hospital (even though I know a majority of them are HH owned). My baby even received a toy at the end!

Admission was quick and easy. They called us back very fast and had us ready for surgery within an hour. They explained everything they were going to do to our son and gave him some control over things he wanted done. We loved our visit from Orbit the support dog. He helped calm and ease all of our nerves in a stressful situation.

I recently delivered my son at Women and Children. Every single person we interacted with, from front security desk to housekeeping, was so kind and professional. We wanted for nothing the entire time we were there! I had THE BEST RN, Andrew, in labor and delivery. He was a huge cheerleader during the birth and a massive support in recovery. He was great! All the nurses and doctors were wonderful, in fact. The night staff was very cognizant and respectful of leaving lights out and being quiet. I even had the sweetest lady come and make sure my room was clean on multiple occasions! Her name was Melinda, I believe. All around, we had such a great birthing experience. This was our second at HHWC, and we won’t be going anywhere else for future children!

I only stayed one night and was treated with the highest respect and privacy. All my nurses, techs, and doctors were excellent communicators. I ask a lot of questions because knowledge and understanding of the procedures help calm my fears. They were all very patient with me and explained everything.

I also want to specifically thank one of the OR nurses (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name). Right before they put me under I asked them to say a small prayer. This precious woman came right beside me and clasped my hands and prayed the kindest words over me. ♥

Side note, the hospital food was delicious!!!

From the time I walked through those revolving doors at Huntsville hospital for women and children was wonderful. I wish I could remember every person's name that I came in contact with. I remember Jamie because she kept me laughing the whole time I was with her, my anesthesiologist a very nice soft spoken Man and of course my surgeon Dr. Caroline Schroeder. Thank You All ❤

I recently had a day procedure at Huntsville Hospital for Women and Children. I received excellent care. The pre-op process the week before made checking in on the day of my procedure so simple and straightforward. The nurses listened well and responded to my requests for care. I was comfortable and well informed throughout pre-op, surgery, and post-op. The hand-off at each stage was smooth. I was very impressed. Thank you so much!!!

We had tubes placed for our little girl yesterday morning and the experience was so much less stressful than I was expecting. The doctors, nurses and other staff were all fantastic and so kind. I loved that there was a play area while we waited for the actual procedure time. We were back home by 9 am and she is doing well. While I hope our visits are few and far between, we are thankful for such a great hospital that we know is there when needed and the care is always exceptional.

Each staff member I interacted with, from checking in to being rolled out of the hospital, were compassionate, knowledgeable, efficient, and reassuring during my stay at Huntsville’s Hospital for Women and Children. I wish I could remember all of their names, but you interact with so many during a hospital stay, even a short one. All admin, tech, nursing and physician staff members with names in my chart were and are amazing humans. They really do encourage you and care for you like family. I beyond appreciate each one of them. They made a scary and very uncomfortable time bearable. If you were someone who helped take care of room 311 yesterday and today, thank you for being awesome!
