Grace Lutheran School

Grace Lutheran School has been a godsend for us! My son is a nontraditional learner whose first language was American Sign Language, and his preschool teacher has worked to constantly invent new ways of reaching out to him. She even signs to him! We are thrilled with the care, compassion, ingenuity and dedication of their faculty and staff. I have and will highly recommend this school!

There are no words to express how much my family and daughter love Grace Lutheran School. The curriculum is challenging yet the kids still enjoy learning. I cannot say enough about the factuality and how they all go “Above and Beyond” for their students!!!! Honestly, moving my daughter from public school to Grace Lutheran has changed her life in the most positive ways, it has truly been a blessing!!!! I would recommend Grace Lutheran School as I know for a fact nobody would be disappointed by attending this school, everything and everyone is amazing.

I would absolutely recommend Grace Lutheran to a friend. My 2 year old is in Mrs. Melissa's toddler class and my daughter has grown SO MUCH since being with her. Melissa is great at meeting children where they are physically, emotionally, and developmentally. She has brought so much joy to our lives. Norah looks forward to going to school every day.

The entire CDC staff makes us feel so welcome and loved. I couldn't imagine having my daughter anywhere else.

My daughter is enrolled in the CDC with Grace Lutheran. We absolutely love this school. She is well cared for and I have never had a worry. The director and her teachers treat her as their own. I would never hesitate to recommend this wonderful family to anyone who is searching for care in huntsville.

I would highly recommend Grace Lutheran because, simply put, they care. The teachers and staff take a personal interest in my child and my family. They strive to make sure each student gets not only a proper education, but they also work with them individually to help with spiritual and personal development. They work in tandum with each child's family to address specific needs. If my child is struggling in a certain area, personal, spiritual or educational, we work together as a team to reinforce appropriate behaviors. I feel like I have partners whom I trust guide my child while she is in their care.

Our Family has been a part of the Grace Lutheran School Family now for 5 years. It is a top notch education in a Christian and caring environment. The staff sincerely has the students best interests at hand. I would highly recommend Grace Lutheran School!

My son attended Grace Lutheran from 18 months of age, right up until he was ready for Pre-K.
I can not say enough good things about this school. My son entered Public school this past August and he was very upset about leaving GLS. But, he entered Pre-K VERY well prepared and his Star test proved that Grace Lutheran had taught him well. He grew so much while he was there, not just academically, but as a person and a Christian. I give lots of props to his two main teachers, Ashley and Lydia for taking WONDERFUL care of my boy. I highly recommend GLS to anyone looking for excellent care for their small children.

We love GLS! The education that our child receives is top notch and the environment is loving and caring. It is evident that the teachers and staff truly care for the individual needs of each child as they strive to encourage and disciple them academically, socially and spiritually. Grace is a wonderful school and community.

My son has been attending the CDC since he was 11 weeks old and he is almost 3. He learns so much and loves all of his teachers. It is a Christian based education that also enstills values. He loves going to school. My daughter has been attending for over a year now and she is doing well also. They are thriving at such a young age!!

Our four children attended Grace Lutheran School, and we have also had grandchildren attend the school. We have been very grateful for the Christian perspective, for the caring teachers, and for the academic preparation they had. Our children moved on to Grissom High School, and were well prepared for the academics that were required.

This is my son's second year at Grace Lutheran. I have been impressed by the faculty and the education that he has received. My son loves his teachers and, in fact, gets mad during school breaks because he wants to be at school.

My child's spiritual and educational needs are being developed in a great way. We have been nothing but pleased with the results of Grace Lutheran School. I can really see improvement in my child's work.

Our child is in her third year at Grace. We continue to enroll her for a number of reasons including safety, caring teachers, small classes, appropriate use of technology, development of self-discipline and study skills, the acknowledged presence of God, positive lunchroom & good meal options, welcoming and exemplary administrative staff overseeing solid organizational procedures, involved families, positive peers, relaxed sports, flexible after school care options, good extracurricular options, central location and a warm and inclusive Christian culture.

My grandson Jordan Reynolds-Gleason, Confirmed in the Lutheran Church, received solid classroom instruction for grades 1-8 at Grace Lutheran School. By Grade 8 graduation, Jordan's ACT and SAT scores are both 'college level ready'. Excellent results considering that he is a diagnosed 'high-functioning dyslexic'.

We made the choice to transfer from HCS a year and a half ago for our son to move through high school. This has been a great place for our family and we have experienced thoughtful and effective teaching, solid leadership and a good curriculum. We really do appreciate GLS!

They are very hands on and always keep me in the know about how my child is succeeding and what we can do to improve. My son who is 2 loves the school and all the teachers. They work with you too, in so many ways. It is such a blessing for my son to go to school here. I could not trust anybody with my child the way I can with them. If I could rate this higher I would.

Impressive quality education! Teaching staff sincerely loves and cares for every student, they have successfully created and foster a learning atmosphere where every student loves and cares for one another, and they are uncompromising in providing an outstanding educational experience that is Christ-centered.

This is a fine school. We've experienced caring teachers, office staff and a great choice in curriculum. We love Grace.
