I always love hiking the trails here. Lots of cool remnants from the area's previous occupants. The Land Trust does an awesome job keeping the trails accessible while preserving the environment around them. The new bridges and elevated trails are very well built

Fun trail. A lot of the paths we took were rock but we liked the extra challenge. We did see a snake so keep an eye out as with any hike. Would definitely recommend. Little disappointed we couldn't go to the Three Caves but it was still nice to see from the gate.

Beautiful place to visit, a lot of hiking trails, most of the trails are easy and accessible. Parking is relatively easy. There are some hidden small waterfalls among the trails for you to explore. Overall it is a nice weekend relaxing place for me.

My favorite place to hike. Easy trails, beautiful scenery, close to town but feels far away.

A patchwork of 50-100 year old stands of mixed hardwoods and pines, dissected by trails and streams. Wildflowers, animals, fungi, and fossils abound in this beautiful example of the Cumberland Plateau Escarpment ecoregion. This is a fantastic spot for educational hikes for those interested in ecology and geology.

Please enjoy, but don’t forget to pick up your trash! Help us keep these trails clean for all to enjoy

We only got to see Three Caves from above but it was worth the short walk to see them. There is so much interesting history behind the caves and the entire area. I look forward to perhaps seeing a concert here

Great, well marked trails. Beautiful views everywhere. We hiked a 5.5mi loop and my kids loved it.

Plenty of trails available w various levels of difficulty. Nicely wooded and good parking. Could use some restroom facilities at the parking lot.

Natural Well Trail is gorgeous. Some of the trails are very rocky, so be careful about twisting your ankles or falling. The parking lot is very small, so I sometimes park in the grass across the street. This area is particularly lovely in the fall, but be cautious if it has rained recently, as the rocks get slick and the wet leaves can mask the trail.

The Land Trust is doing a fantastic drop maintaining their trails, rerouting trails where necessary, building bridges and more. Would love to see Monte Sano State Park follow their lead.

Mind-centering serene hiking trails for simple pleasure or re-evaluating the important things. Possesses both beginner trails and moderately difficult which are clearly marked. Also ample options for mountain biking. Lots of shade. Gorgeous in the fall. Come here to get away and unplug.

It is so beautiful out here! Definitely need to come back after a rain when more water is flowing.

Great trails for both mountain biking and hiking. It feels very remote out in the park once you consider how close you are to Huntsville, which is nice. Be prepared for rugged terrain and bring plenty of water!

Very well kept and well marked trails. Plenty of trails to explore of varying difficulty, but nothing extreme. If you come after it rains you will see several beautiful streams. Definitely my favorite hiking spot!!

It was an awesome hike! Super easy! It was a very pretty view. I would definitely recommend going on a day right after it rains to get the full effect! It wasn’t very busy and overall a lot of fun!

Beautiful, little known Land Trust trail on the other side of Green mountain, a few miles past Green Mountain Park entrance.

Great place to get out for a hike, or bike ride. Enjoy The Great Outdoors while still being in the backyard of Huntsville. There are many Trail options for both hiking and mountain biking. The trails seem to be cared for and for the most part well-marked. You can take one of the shorter options of less than an hour, or spend the whole day there making connections from Trail to Trail. Get off the couch, and get on out.
