Voodoo Lounge Bar & Grill

Went by per a few locals recommendations and wasn't disappointed.... Definitely crowded but manageable.... Live music was great and a few steps out the door was downtown sights as pictured!
Will stop in again soon!

First time in Voodoo Lounge, the Otis Walker Band was on fire last night! Can't wait to experience that vibe again! WOW WHAT A SHOW!!
Bar staff was amazing, place was packed but drinks were getting served quickly!

Had a great time on Wednesday evening. The musician was very good and the bartender Erica poured the best drinks. Was a little too crowded for me but there was a convention in town. Definitely will be back!!!

A friend and I were visiting Huntsville for the weekend. After stopping at a few stores, we saw a sign for happy hour. We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door and found that this place is in a basement. We spent many "happy hours" here that evening. The drinks were great and the company even better. We will not come back to Huntsville without making a stop here. Perfect dive bar vibes!

Stumbled across Voodoo while wandering back to my hotel after dinner one night. There was a band the first night I was there and an open mic night the second. Both were well attended. The drinks are quite reasonably priced, the bartenders are responsive and nice. Nothing really to complain about. Seems mostly a local spot which is always nice to find.

An incredibly cool atmosphere, Voodoo is the perfect chill underground dive bar. Though it's name may not sound appetizing, their speciality drink, the "Pink Chicken" is delicious, covering its high alcohol content with a great tropical taste. Not to mention, I dare say Voodoo has THE best hot wings in Huntsville. If you're undecided on when you should come, definitely come on a Wednesday night - James Irvin plays, and the way his bass and acoustics reverberate through the venue will shake your soul.

Was brought here by a friend as it was late and this is one of the best places to hang after midnight. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the vibe, the bartenders were fun to joke with, and the live music was awesome. Will definitely return. Had excellent cheese sticks 🍻

A hidden dive bar right on the courthouse square. Definitely one of my favorite places to go downtown. They always have great live music and open mic night on Thursdays is a blast. The bartenders are always friendly and make great drinks. The seating is limited due to the shotgun style but I have never minded standing and listening to the bands.

One of my favorite places to listen to live music. Love the atmosphere and the bartenders are always on top of things. Fantastic French Fries tbh.

The. Best. Dive. In Huntsville. Employees were great. Music was great a d customers were great. Highly recommend. Also the dude with the long hair and the beard is a beast of a bartender. Yall keep it up.

Love the vibe here at Voodoo Lounge. This place reminds me of a bar I worked at in Santa Barbara, CA years ago. Great music, friendly crowd. Definitely one of my favorite bars yet here in Huntsville Alabama.

Get there before 9 if you want a seat. Happy hour everyday including weekends. With live music dope little dive

This is my favorite bar in ALL of Huntsville. I’ve lost my glasses here on at Patrick’s day(a long time ago). I’ve stopped mid sentence to enjoy the live music when they’re playing exactly what I’m feeling. I’ve come here by myself. With friends and everything in between. Also the back alley is my favorite in all of Huntsville. Music, friends, Voodoo!!

Smoke free dive bar with live music every weekend. Bartenders are friendly and keep the energy up. Great place for a drink with friends in a neat little space. It's cozy and gets crowded. Always fun

I have been many times. When Dawn Kirkland comes do not miss it. Great, fun room, where you are never judged just welcomed. The venue is tiny and sometimes gets crowded but the music is always good and the people there want to be there. They say sometimes that if you live around and you don't know the Voodoo lounge, 'You weren't supposed to know'.. It is where the lawyers go to hide in anonymity. The best musicians in the area come to this place when they are not working. This and the Klatsch are as good as it gets anywhere in North Alabama... or really anywhere for that matter.

Very low key and chill. A great place for a beer without going through the normal Huntsville runaround. No strict dress code, smoking, or other nonsense. Also very friendly bartenders.
