Love the space; sophisticated but cozy. All the staff was welcoming and friendly. Destiny was very knowledgeable in the menu, had great recommendations and answered any questions I had. Food was delicious. Great portion sizes for just me. The braised short rib Ravioli was the perfect size. Destiny recommended the tres leches cheesecake which was delicious. Definitely plan on coming back next time I'm in town.

Always a yummy stable choice, my favorite restaurant in HSV. Ideally eat out doors in the shade of a warm Alabama day.

Stumbled on this place had a beer and decided to have dinner as well.
Wonderful service, food was excellent, had the Ahi salad, oysters and the tacos.
Also ordered a burger as they looked excellent, but decided to share one, the waitress was paying attention, and the burger came on two different plates, sliced in half, nice touch.
The area itself is lovely as well.
Recommend.

I really love the quality of food and service, the atmosphere is pleasurable with outdoor & indoor seating.
This my fifth or sixth time to dine here, and Brunch on the weekends (including Sunday) is my favorite time at the Commerce Kitchen.👏👏👏👏👏

Stopped in for the Sunday night supper menu. I have to say, I thought the selections were quite impressive and was pleased with the price. After the waiter clarified that the appetizers were shared by the table, and you pick an individual entree, and each person selects 3 sides, and a dessert, I was astounded. They offered all of this for $40. In a time when you can barely get through the golden arches for $40, they are offering top quality meals, and service.

Get out of that drive-thru line and get to Commerce Kitchen.

Had the Brunch menu on Saturday. Ordered the Roasted Salmon Bowl. It was the best. I ordered mine medium rare and it was perfectly cooked. The Jasmine Rice was perfect. The sauce was very good. The whole dish was awesome. 2 thumbs up!

Such a cute and upscale restaurant. I had the shrimp and grits, and it was delicious. The steak was mouth watering and the crab cakes were perfect. Definitely get the chocolate torte and lemon drop martini to round out the meal.

One of the best meals we have had in a long time. It was my girlfriend's birthday and she was impressed. Our appetizer was the fried green tomatoes and they were delicious. We had the ribeye and the pork chops for dinner and both were amazing. For dessert we shared a key lime pie...yummmmmm. We sat at a high top in the bar area and because we are people watchers, I think it's the best seat in the house. Sarah, was our server and also the bartender. Very attentive and made an amazing cosmo and espresso martini. Very upscale but casual restaurant for a date night or just dinner out.

Beautiful morning to dine al fresco for brunch after church. Great downtown setting. Wonderful food. My friends and I loved everything we ordered, shrimp and grits, fried green tomato benedict, and avocado toast with shrimp. Delicious. Nice service and very accommodating. Love CK 💙

If you are new or old to HSV and still haven’t tried Commerce Kitchen in downtown, then you have to. It’s my all time favorite. I think this is the only place I visit consistently every month. So far, always great experience, wonderful service and delicious food. I love the fresco vibe of this place, it just makes you happy. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I love siting outside specially if it’s evening time. Love the fried green tomatoes 😘 (you gotta try it!)

My wife and I met some friends for dinner at Commerce Kitchen in Huntsville, Alabama. This was my second visit to this great restaurant. The service was great and the food was delicious. My wife enjoyed the shrimp and grits and I enjoyed their burger with a fried egg on top. We finished our dinner with creme brulee.

First time eating at Commerce Kitchen, and I did not disappoint! The food, atmosphere, and service were all top notch! The Crab Cakes were seasoned to perfection and had more crab than filler. The prime rib was cooked to perfection, so tender and moist, sitting on a bed garlic mashed potatoes, that are just phenomenal. The seared Red Snapper was also cooked to perfection. The orzo was creamy like risotto. The cream brulee, looked so good actually took a couple bites before snapping it's picture. Highly recommend giving Commerce Kitchen a go.... Get your reservations early, as this place fills up quick.

The food was absolutely delicious. I had the shrimp and grits. I was too hungry to snap a picture before I devoured the dish. I wish the serving size was a bit larger though. I was still a little hungry after I finished it. So, I had to get this delicious orange marmalade bread pudding.

This was our first time to dine at this establishment. We had a reservation for 7, but got there at 6:15 and they were very accommodating and seated us early. The atmosphere was very southern and charming. They also had an ample outside dinning area. We chose inside due to warm sultry conditions outside. Outside would be nice on a cool evening. We tried the Fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese. They also drizzle the tomatoes with a spicy aioli and have an optional hot sauce that is a wonderful palate pleaser to add to the whole bite. The shrimp and grits were good, just not the best I have ever had. The grits were a little "toothy" and just not a lot of flavor. For dessert we had the creme brulee and it was a average, but displayed on the plate wonderfully. They have a bar area in the back and it served up new and tasty drinks and seemed to be a lively place to enjoy a drink or meal. Overall a wonderful dining experience for the evening.

Had a delightful lunch, as part of a party of 6. The food and service were both excellent! Enjoyed a yummy appetizer of fried green tomatoes, plus several entrees which were all quite tasty. And the desserts were divine! We will definitely be returning here next time we're in Huntsville.

Great service! My wife and I got the starters and an entree. They split the entree onto two separate plates without us asking. The food was delicious. We will be back again during our stay.

Loved the quaint yet classy atmosphere! Staff were genuinely kind and made sure coffee cups were always full! Food was astonishingly delicious! Prior to my visit I always thought a restaurant in Portland Oregon had the best Cornbeef Hash. Commerce Kitchen now holds that title in my mind! Will be returning again and again. ♡

Amazing place to eat with eclectic atmosphere. The perfect example of downtown Huntsville ambiance. The outdoor seating under the trees is beautiful. The steaks are the best in town with a great wine and delicious cocktail list. You will have a fabulous time at Commerce.
