I don't usually eat chocolate cookies, but this is the one you want to try and taste it. The chocolate is warmly melted in a crunch cookie; the best.

Food was amazing, service was friendly, and for an added bonus the patio is dog friendly. We stopped in on a whim and loved it so much we made sure to come back the next day before we left. It is a definitey worthy of a destination trip to eat.

Delicious meal! The French Onion Soup was one of the best our entire party has had. We loved the rest of our appetizers and entrées as well. Pictured is the rib eye special, which was fantastic! Service was excellent. BYOB for alcohol. We will be back.

The general rule of thumb’s that the more unpronounceable the menu, the better the food tastes, so I don’t know if it’s “L’entrecôte” or “L’entreçòte,” but the food here is superb! Bottled lemonade, seltzer and soda (no alcohol yet). Three kinds of crêpes, and two kinds of sandwiches. Tasteful decorations around the restaurant. Al fresco seating in front. Clean single-sex bathrooms and fast, passworded wi-fi. Friendly, attentive waitstaff and fair prices. Parking in Sharon’s market.

Wonderful little spot. The two blonde girls were exceptional. Food was delicious, highly recommended the sweet crepes. All staff were kind and took great care of their customers.

French cuisine done right, and within budget. No alcohol yet, so only soda, lemonade, coffee, tea and seltzer on offer. Gorgeous décor and friendly waitstaff. There is strong wi-fi and outside dining (three tables). Careful in the parking lot since it is quite busy with traffic in multiple directions.

As a top producer of luxury real estate in the Litchfield Hills of CT - I love coming to this restaurant because I can get a great meal and have a glass of Chardonnay with clients or grab something to go! I love the staff here they’re so friendly! Definitely try the crepes and soups… so delicious!!

Hidden gem. I was at a wedding at Sharon, CT and needed a breakfast place. I didn't expect a French restaurant in the area, so I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the croque madame sandwich and the others in my party had omelettes or the quiche. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I would expect their lunch and dinner menu items to be just as good as well.

Food and house wine were delicious, atmosphere convivial, the bill very reasonable. Only thing I can say, and I’ll just be repeating what others have said before — you just cannot run Sunday dinner with only one serveuse! She was running, getting orders wrong and then freaking out about it, struggling with the screen door with hands full of plates, a note of panic in her voice, patrons were openly uncomfortable asking her for stuff because she was so obviously overwhelmed. Please hire a second person to help her out.

I remember being taken to Europe by my parents as a kid and being fascinated by their red Michelin Guide. It was so fun to read about restaurants where we were going and had been.

Some restaurants were described as "worth a detour" (exceptionally high praise for Michelin). That's the way I feel about Le Gamin. Robert and his team are simply doing an outstanding job on EVERYTHING: ambiance, service, and of course the food.

Last night we had cod with potatoes au gratin and a salad, and a bowl of New England clam chowder. The cod was divide -- a big think hunk perfectly poached that preserved its subtle flavor and melted in your mouth. The potatoes were perfect with just enough cheese to give flavor but not get gloppy. The clam chowder (a daring menu choice) was the best we've had in -- wait for it -- New England, and we've lived here for 40 years. Dessert was a wonderful brownie (French style, not American) and vanilla ice cream from the shop next door.

Heaven on Earth.

The best French Onion Soup my partner has ever had, incredible lamb shank and orzo, and a tasty Bolognese. We've come here for breakfast in the past and that was also incredible. Will be stopping here every time we visit Lime Rock Park in the future!

This place is special. Wonderful service. Cappuccino was hot and frothy. The onion soup was so good. I still think about it a week later. The crepe was amazing. Alot of love was put into each dish and it comes through with each bite you take. If you live in the area, I envy you, if your just passing through, this spot is a must. Cheers!

sat outside under an awning. Nicose salad was outstanding, as was the homemade vinaigrette on it. There is plenty of fresh tuna on it.

What a treat! A great surprise in a small town. Le Gamin is an authentic French Cafe with food as good as we experienced in the two years we lived in France. Excellent service, friendly staff, awesome food. What more could one ask for?

We enjoyed our dinners very much. We were a party of 6. Food was well presented and very good. We liked the atmosphere - more like local neighborhood restaurant in France

My husband and I had ordered from Le Gamin before, and chose to go there this past weekend as our "first time" in more than a year inside a restaurant. Not only was everything perfectly done, but Robert went out of his way to create a special condiment for me, and no one seemed offended by my American version. I plan to go twice more for lunch this week with friends.
