Los Cucos Mexican Cafe

Loved it! Good food, nice atmosphere, generous portions, and cool view of the Colorado River in the back dining room. Will definitely make the effort to eat here anytime we're in the area.

Food is great seems to be Authentic Mexican 🌮🌮. I like the Seafood options as I have given up red meat and chicken. I like that Los Cucos has great seafood and or veggie options.

Had one of the parraidilla combo with shrimp, ribs, chicken n fajitas. Also came with beans,avocado, rice n pico salad. Was almost too much food. Everything was well cooked n savory. Had visited 2 years ago and was not disappointed. Sat on the river side.

I ordered the beef fajitas for one with the “ A la Diablo” I would have to say this was my biggest appeal to this restaurant hands-down is the ability to pick your own sauce. My wife got the beef fajita chimichanga and loved it. It was big and filling. Overall good value for your money. The food was good as well as the service. I highly recommend this restaurant just for the ability to pick your own sauce.

If you have never had a prickly pear margarita with sugar on the rim. This is the place!! The bacon wrapped shrimp and the tres leches are 👌🏽. Ask for Martin he is a great server!!!

The food was good but the server Lester was exceptional and made the experience one to remember and cause of that im going back real soon.Thanks for the experience Lester who i will be looking for everytime i go there.

Quaint restaurant, Delicious food! My favorite beef enchiladas from anywhere. The rest of the menu is very good also. Large portions and reasonable prices. Staff is wonderful, small cafe feeling, but rather large. Beautiful view of the river on one side of the building. 10/10 would recommend

Los cucos is always good especially this location. The staff is great and they keep up with refills and checking in on you. We ordered takeout also while we ate and it came out right as we finished. It's a nice location.

Always on point. If my car ever breaks down again I hope it is here.

They have great service and great food! The Stuffed Avocado is the bomb. Especially if you get it fried. They do have a vegan platter that has stuffed avocados (fresh), with mushrooms and a great dipping sauce. If you like Mexican food, this is the place to go in Wharton. It overlooks the Colorado River, so the scenery is very nice.

Martin was an excellent server. He got our order of 4 people correct on all counts. That was very impressive because I have food allergies. The food tasted delicious and was plentiful. We were visiting from out-of-town and liked their hours of closing at 10 p.m., an added bonus for us. Thank you Los Cucos! 02-06-19

Excellent service. Friendly people. Good food I had the crispy chixken tacos with beans and rice All of it had a good flavoring and taste And the bartender was awesome She was on top of everything. It was just her working and taking care of the whole restaurant Two thumbs go out to her

Alyssa was such a great server and made us feel as if we were her only customers to serve! We ate there last week and Would definitely go back for the beautiful views & delicious fajitas! Ordered the mustard chicken again, once one of my favorites. I'd decided this would be the last chance I'd give it. The time before, I'd gotten a dry, tasteless mess atop an overcooked piece of meat, no mustard within a mile of it. For a couple of years it hadn't been anywhere near the delicious dish it once had been. Well, bravo, and welcome back--this time, it was great: juicy, spicy in all the right ways, and accompanied by an excellent tortilla soup. I hope this triumphant return continues. Excellent service this time as well.

I have dined here a few times. The food is always top notch. My car broke down on my way to see family and it landed there. The service and food was top notch
Also they allowed my car to sit there overnight until I could get it the next day!

Just got off the phone with the manger Manuel and he was so patient and kind while we ordered food for our family members. He allowed us to make substitutions for healthier choices and due to COVID restrictions he was willing to go the extra mile to have the food delivered to them! Five star service. I would recommend this place!

Excellent service, great food and endless chip and salsa

Delicious food and big portions. Worth the price as we had 2 full to-go boxes leftover from just 3 meals. The green sauce served with the chips is delicious. Go here. It's great!
