Mars Beads

Stopped by for a quick gift for my daughter and feel in love with this bead/record store/art gallery. The woman and man working were so friendly, offering conversation and recommendations for us while in town. Great bead prices too!

Carolyn was SO amazing! My daughter-in-law's hairpiece for her wedding went missing and Carolyn was able to remake it the day before the wedding in just a few hours. She did a beautiful job and we are so grateful for her willingness to drop everything to make her special day just perfect! Thank you, Carolyn!

I was in a bind and showed up right at closing like a jerk and they were so helpful and fixed my broken bracelet. There is tons of beautiful jewelry in store and she can create anything. There’s also an awesome record store with really cool items attached to the store as well. Incredible experience.

Carolyn is amazing! Great selection and even better ideas! I can bring in anything and it gets (re)made into one-of-a-kind pieces! Highly recommended. I am learning by merely watching a master craftsman. The great company and laughs are an added bonus!

Mars Beads has gorgeous beads and quality jewelry supplies! Owner Carolyn is an incredibly knowledgeable and creative artist and always willing to help! The quality of her beads is like no other place around and I think her prices are great! I have been an artist for over 30 years and Mars Beads is my favorite bead store and totally worth the drive to Lakeway!!

Carolyn has helped me with several tricky bead repairs. She recently restrung a necklace for me which required knots between the beads. She did a beautiful job, replacing a couple of beads that broke. (She wouldn't accept payment for the replacement beads.). She is kind and patient with all her customers, and she had my necklace ready in just a few days. I think we are lucky to have Mars Beads here in Lakeway, and lucky that Carolyn is always there to help us!

I learned of Mars Beads through my wife and grand daughter. While completing a craft project, I wanted some flat pearl like beads. The owner was most helpful in helping me to find just what I needed. She has an amazing selection of beads and associated supplies, and is very knowledgeable concerning beads.

Carolyn, the owner, has taught me all kinds of cool things about beads and jewelry making. She is a true artist and very community minded. Also has the best girl's night out parties!

AWESOME place! Carolyn is a wonderful lady and knows her stuff. There is a master jeweler there that does custom jewelry and repairs while you wait! Highly recommended

great help, knowledgeable and good, interesting collection...plus the owner makes custom glass beads on the spot..ALSO they have an awesome record collection and an art gallery...

Wonderful shop and experience. I took some of my existing jewelry and some new charms and we were able to create 2 lovely pieces that I will wear and enjoy. Great shop and service.
