The Carlton

We have been living in The Carlton in the last two years and it has been a wonderful period. The maintenance staff are quick to respond. Traci from the leasing office and the other two female staff too are always helpful.
As my daughter has moved in too here, we needed some things to be customized to suit her. Traci was understanding and empathetic and got it done for me. Grateful for that.

I just moved into The Carlton and my father has been living here since last 2 years. I absolutely love how considerate and responsive the management is. Traci helped me from the day I was looking for an apartment and did her best to make sure I got the apartment I preferred. She and Kaira made the whole process totally comfortable specially because I was moving from out of state and had to make sure I could get my stuff delivered in the apartment before I moved in. The maintenance crew is great and always show up within short notice and do their best! Would totally recommend this place for people looking to move in the area!

We have had a wonderful experience at The Carlton, particularly due to the exceptional service provided by Jonathan, the maintenance staff. He's not only a great guy but was also quick to assist us with an A/C issue, ensuring our comfort during the hot weather. We are very pleased with our home and have been happy residents since 2020. Currently, the rent is reasonable, and we are eagerly anticipating the new lease offer in the coming days.

Traci Norris, the leasing agent, was incredibly helpful during my search for a new unit. She not only provided me with all the essential information I needed but also gave me a thorough and engaging tour of the property. Traci’s was kindness and willingness to take her time made me feel truly valued and special. She made the entire leasing process smooth and enjoyable.

Just wanted to give a shout out to our maintenance man, Marina. Our AC was showing signs of aging and we were having some issues. Marina responded and diagnosed the problem very quickly. It was a big job and he completed it efficiently. He also cleaned up everything and left no trace of a mess. Very satisfied!

My friends apartment complex. Lovely pool area. Nice to sit out there and have a bite to eat or just enjoy the weather. Nice landscaping. Quiet mostly. Good neighborhood. Central Market is within walking distance. Right next door is a convenient store and a Domino's.

Maintenance is very good. Johnathon is very attentive to his work. He repeatedly checked in us when our AC wasn’t working. After entering any work order in to the system Johnathon is quick to respond and fix the problem! Very good service!

Traci toured me and was absolutely wonderful! She was so thorough and even sent me everything we went over in email. She took time to help me look at options and made sure I had everything I needed to make an informed decision!

Kira was excellent! Great apartments in a community that feels welcoming. Hopefully they’ll have something available for when I’m looking.

I have lived here for 2.5 years now and I have loved it!!! During the construction on West Alabama the past year, the office was great about notifying via email and also with flyers on our doors to let us know specific dates and times to expect the water to be shut off. It was never more than about 3 hours. The covered parking being included with rent is a huge plus. The landscaping is also STUNNING. I will miss all the tall trees!!

The community is calm and welcoming. My maintenance requests are promptly taken care of with professionalism. They usually respond within hours. Always within 24 hours at the longest. The leasing team has always been so kind and transparent. Huge shoutout to Jacqueline. She always has a smile and is very helpful!!

I live overlooking the pool currently so I actually witnessed the shooting referenced in other reviews. This occurred over a year ago. The back gates had been left open for us as we did not have access for the front gate at all for a couple weeks due to construction on west Alabama. This led non residents coming in and a huge party at the pool. I say non residents as the grand majority appeared to be teenagers. I also wouldn’t expect anyone living here paying our rent to be that unhinged on a weeknight. That has been the only incident to my knowledge and the gate has rarely had issues since. They also employed an extra security officer I believe.

I would be renewing my lease again but they currently don’t have any of the beautiful 2 bed/2 baths with a study available and I’m looking to upsize from my current 1 bedroom.

So, we finally got this awesome maintenence technician, Jonathan, who saved the day with our dryer problems. He knew his stuff inside out and fixed things up real quick. Now, our dryer runs perfectly - no more waiting around forever for clothes to dry. Plus, it's using way less energy, which is a win-win. Huge shoutout to our new hero for making laundry way less of a hassle!!

The apartment is everything you would see online but x10 better.

Even though the apartment sells itself the customer service of the leasing staff here is top is notch.

I truly wished we leased here but they go so quickly. So if you see something call ASAP! I enjoyed touring with Sarah but just visit as a walk-in. You will miss out on a great community like we did 😭

I recently toured The Carlton Apartments in search of a community that would allow my ESA dog to be approved for occupancy.
RPM Living currently manages the community and they have a no breed restriction policy!

Office team was extremely knowledgeable of their community as well as the neighborhood.

I even had a chance to meet a few residents who have been living here for 20+ years and have enjoyed their stay since.

Definitely looking to apply in the next few days, super excited for my new home!

Abel provided me with top tier service! From the moment I walked in, he made me feel like I was walking into my new home. The professionalism was out of this world and really provided me with the best customer experience! If I were to lease an apartment solely on the leasing agent, I’d sign today. The floor plans are beautiful and the community is extremely well kept. I can’t wait to call The Carlton my future home!

I would recommend that anyone live here! Have been here for almost a month now and have been so thrilled with everything. The move-in experience was a breeze thanks to the awesome leasing staff--Dylan and Makira made sure I felt right at home immediately.

The package system is amazing-Amazon lockers so you can pick up your package at anytime and don't have to worry about packages getting lost or stolen.

The maintenance man, Cory, has been so nice and attentive. I have a few things that need to be fixed from moving in like a broken blind that needed to be ordered, and Dylan or Makira have consistently given me an update to advise it has been ordered/etc.

Both Dylan and Makira also reached out just to see how my move-in experience went. Top notch customer service with the leasing team :)

The community is beautiful and the people are extremely friendly. Super happy I decided to make the Carlton my home!

Went in to discuss possible options for me moving in and the staff were so pleasant to talk with. Dylan gave me a tour and was thorough in his walk through and the information he gave me about the facility, amenities, and the general area. He was patient and answered all the questions I had. Also, I was able to meet someone from the maintenance staff and they were also pleasant to talk with, I could tell they took pride in their work.

The staff provides exceptional services in addressing issues in a positive manner. My experience with the maintenance staff is excellent, they actually know how to repair things. My years as a renter has taught me that an efficient maintenance staff is key to happiness. Abel also contributes to creating a happy experience in apartment living. There are plenty of restaurants, health clubs, movies, grocery stores, churches, post offices, mini malls—all within walking distance. We have a new manager and she seems pretty cool and the neighbors are friendly.

Mrs.Tracy was very pleasant, thorough, descriptive, professional, informative about the property. I would highly recommend this property also the property was very peaceful and quiet. I really had a good experience with her and she provided excellent service and hospitality!

Top of the list. I had visited numerous apartments within the last couple of days. Thanks to Kira’s warmth, pleasantness, and clarity on the apartment and all its amenities and future goals of the facility it was easy for me to make it a top choice to reside. Looking forward to calling The Carlton home.

I was having a horrible day before I went to tour The Carlton. This complex is beautiful. The manager Bea was so sweet and very knowledgeable about the complex. She made me feel at home and made my day bright. The gym has the perfect equipment and the pool makes me feel like I live at a resort. I can not wait to move in next month!!!
