Soul's Harbor Thrift Store

If you have time, patience and an eye for treasures this is your spot. Timing is everything here. Sometimes you just pull up at the right moment to find the best gems. I have found dishes, small appliances, shoes and clothes to gift to others. I have found many items that I cleaned, painted or repurposes that are now part of my home decor. Some of the nicest guys work at this location. It's wonderful watching them take control of their lives while building confidence and viable business skills. Prices are fluid. Most ppl thrifting here are friendly and helpful. If you are a reader find the book shelf. Found some brand new bibles, novels, devotionals, etc while thrifting. Early morning or near closing are my favorite times to treasure hunt.

I'd like to say yes it's messy and things sometimes have to be dug through. But I'd also like to say that is a volunteer thrift shop and that there is limited staff. Plus some of the customers that come in make a mess and leave it there for the volunteer staff to clean up. I feel for the store sometimes the customers that come in dig through everything and leave a mess it's unacceptable. I even asked one time they said that most of the time there's a group of people that come in dig through everything and leave a complete and total mess in their wake and the staff is responsible for the clean up. So yes 9/10 times it's because CUSTOMERS leave a mess and. They are too understaffed to stay on top of it. I love going there I can always find something even if I'm just going there to look I don't mind the moving and digging I tend to organize as I go 😌 it's not that hard to leave a place clean

I'd like to add that if your looking for a cool favor for your wedding or a party they always have a ton of glass wear I saw it on Pinecrest once where they gave out glasses and cups for their favors the guest could pick out a glass they liked and that's what their drinks for the party were served in and they took them home at the end of the day

Wow, you have to be prepared for this one! Every thing is piled everywhere. It's like walking into a hoarders house. But if you like to dig for treasure this place is for you. It benefits men who are rehabilitating from jail or addiction. They help out and volunteer here from what I understand. I found a beautiful bathroom scale, 2 dresses one new with tags, a shirt and a new full can of Sebastian hair spray. I took it to the register and he said $3! I gave him $5. It would have been $20 at Goodwill. I'd go back. Everyone was super nice

Great store, great finds, great price, friendly customer service! It is the go to for the collector, the thrifter, the gamer, or anyone that needs that particular item they cannot find elsewhere.

If you like to hunt and dig for treasures this is the place to do it. New AC has been installed so the Texas heat doesn’t affect the search for goodies. The guys are so helpful in carrying out heavy items and are always friendly. Larry is fair in his pricing and keeps up a hectic pace at trying to keep the store in an orderly fashion. Best thing though is that every day there is different items and treasures.

You have to see for yourself. Friendly. Certainly openhanded above board dealing. You will find everything at a better deal than you expect. This is where karma goes to retire. Bring your good energies. And make sure to leave some good vibes behind in place of the treasures you can't wait to get home with.

I may have personally met each and every wonderful, kind, considerate, and valuable person who has worked and/or volunteered at Soul's Harbor Waxahachie in the past year or so. Everyone has taken pride in a job well done, and they seem as though they are truly enjoying themselves. That makes me {and certainly other clients} feel welcomed and appreciated. Even though I arrived a couple of times carrying a negative attitude and baggage from my life, interacting with such kind and understanding staff, my problems from the day and even the disappointing week were QUICKLY forgotten. I just hope that they forgave ME! ☺ It is such a joy to go on a treasure hunt in this magical place. Items are changing constantly.

I appreciate the patrons who donate as well! I have wandered in a few times in the past couple of years, and purchased small items here and there, however, it is SO obvious that the fun, attention to details, and ever-exciting atmosphere of late has transferred into not only increased donations, but the QUALITY of merchandise donated these past several months has certainly been OUTSTANDING! I can hardly wait to get my recent purchases settled and placed into our new home so I can show them off to supplement this written review.

So far I have purchased a three-piece dream guest bedroom {a dovetail ensemble from the 1940s that is in the most pristine condition I have ever seen - made even more amazing with the addition of a BRAND NEW mattress and box springs} - so now I need the matching hope chest 😃; I have most of my beautiful kitchen china cabinet displays, and numerous pieces of NEW, QUALITY framed artwork for other rooms throughout our home. I am still crossing my fingers for the ONE "golden egg" item that barely slipped through our fingers one sad Saturday morning, but the early bird deserves the worm! I am confident that another such item will be ours when the timing is perfect. Until then, my hunt for exciting and unique treasures continues.

Very friendly people works there willing to help with info on different items you can find all kinds of treasures I actually go there if I'm looking for particular items before going into stores cause 9 times out of 10 its there for a great price and when I'm done with things in my home that are no longer needed I like to give back by donating them here it's like receiving a blessing and also being a blessing to others.

I really enjoy coming here you can find just about anything you have to dig through everything but you won't never find tools LOL but still five stars

There’s a huge variety of items! Kitchen, bedroom, living room, etc. you name it this resale shop more than likely has it. The guys there were working their butts off loading and unloading furniture. The stores a bit messy, but that’s to be expected with the sheer amount of clothes, dishes, books and furniture. The prices are fairly good. Absolutely going to return!

What a crazy collection of everything imaginable. The location is a little hard to find but the staff is great and they even do pickups for donation. Go on Wednesday, the main guy is there and he's awesome.

Souls is an icon in the world of thrift stores. They are also a humanitarian shop that helps guys get back on their feet. Its a great store I have gone to since 1982. Sometimes their bargains are out of this world.

For a good cause. Everything you want in a flee market, thrift store, junk shop,second hand shop. Great staff take an hour bring your "pickers" mentality, your haggle and at least 2 dollars and have a ball. Or bring fifty and furnish and equip your ( or your kids) first apartment top.to bottom

The best place to find furniture. I furnished my entire house from them. The staff was excellent. It's nice to be able to help the men of a Soul's Harbor.

I am very excited about the new location here in Waxahachie at3280 North Highway 77. This is a great organization that helps so many in the community.

There's some great finds, you just have to look around. They usually have good furniture though!
