A New Chi Salon and Spa

My family has been going to Bee for around 5 years now! She is absolutely the best hairstylist. She is patient and you can tell she really wants the outcome to be something you love and appreciate. She is very patient and kind to my sister who is special needs! She’s been coloring my hair and my sisters who had virgin hair she has done an amazing job at explaining the steps! My family love her and her salon!!

Bee is the BEST! She listened to everything I had to say about my hair and everything I didn't say to understand my wants and needs. She made my day and I feel 10 years younger after my visit with her! She is wonderful and I recommend this salon to everyone I talk to. ;) Her staff is kind and friendly. They even have a great kids nook so my girls could be kept occupied while I got my hair done (which was sorely needed). :D I am most definitely returning again soon.

My review is a few months late! I never write reviews so i kept forgetting BUT this salon is my new go to. I have long, curly hair and i am always so afraid of going somewhere new because i end up with a triangle haircut. But i never wanna go back to the person again so its been a long time trial and error! Not with Bee! First off, the scalp massage was incredible. Second, she explained what she was doing every step of the way so i felt so comfortable in her hands. My hair turned out great. NO triangle. Beautiful layers. Life is stressful enough, so happy the stress of getting a haircut is lifted ! Thank you Bee!

I’ve been getting my hair cut from Kim for several years now.I actually moved from McKinney to Dallas, and I still come back up to McKinney, in order to get my hair cut from her.

Kim is extremely professional, sweet and does an AMAZING job every time. I cannot sing her praises enough.

I've been going here for years. Bee, the owner of A New Chi, was a hair stylist long before opening her own salon, and that experience shows. She learned what does and doesn't work for customers ... and how the little "extras" make a huge difference. The atmosphere is restful; there is product to buy if needed (but it's never pushed); they offer waxing services and facials in a private and serene room; they have online scheduling capabilities (which I love). Plus, Bee is very involved in the community and has been kind in helping out local non-profits. I highly recommend A New Chi.

I got a full color and haircut at A New Chi done by TONG, and I just want everyone to know how incredible she is. Tong did EXACTLY what I asked for, and I couldn’t be happier. It’s been a week since my appointment, and I still feel the same way. She is highly skilled and pays very close attention to detail. I had A LOT of grey that had grown out over the past year of the pandemic and she didn’t miss a single hair while applying the color. She left the color on the perfect amount of time, and when she washed my hair afterwards it was very relaxing. Tong also gave me the best haircut I’ve had in many years, my hair looks so much healthier. I’m very happy I found A New Chi Salon. Thank you Tong!

I had my hair perfected by B! She's understanding, and honest! I love that she took her time with my veryyyy thick hair, and gave me the hair cut I've always wanted! The price wasn't too bad, and the service was amazing. She took her time and was kind enough to make it beautiful for my date later that night!!

I went here a few hours ago and got my hair cut off 10 inches! This place might deceive you at first because of its outside appearance, but once you enter, it feels so fresh and new. After she washed it a little, the hairdresser cut my hair to the exact height that I wanted it to be. At other salons, whenever I ask for a trim, the hairdressers there always cut my hair way shorter, which was why I never liked going to a salon. It was a great first experience, and I’m sooo obsessed with my new look!

A new chi salon and spa is an all around wonderful experience! My skin was becoming problematic due to the weather so I was in dire need of a facial. The esthetician was thorough beforehand to make sure she understood the concerns and limitations I may have had with my skin. The facial itself was very relaxing, and also included a paraffin wax dip for my feet and massage for my arms and hands. Not only was the facial a pampering experience, but my skin was glowing afterwards. I also received a small skincare sample to further address the dryness my skin was experiencing. I highly recommend this salon and spa - they will take very good care of you!

an all around wonderful salon! bee (the owner) always does my hair perfectly and she is amazing with color. i will continue to get my hair cut and colored at this salon as long as i live in the area. thank you bee! :)

Very professional, helpful and friendly. Does exactly what you want done. Cut, color, style hair in a peaceful setting with many amenities over n beyond. Kim is my favorite and she always gives me honest tips n advice on caring for my hair.

This is the most up beat and relaxing salon I have ever been too. Staff is amazing and reliable. They always call to remind me of my appointment. This is my go to salon for hair and makeup. Highly recommend them

Best experience ever....forever, ever. They have been putting me back together for years and I am forever grateful. Bee and her staff will make you beautiful both inside and out! I have recommended them to all my friends and family!

They were original based in Stonebridge near a fitness store and that is where I had my hair cut for years. They moved to this new locating, and they continue to do great work. They even have a the GameCube with the cartridges that you can play on if you are waiting.

Got my haircut with Tong today and she did amazing! I showed her a picture of the haircut that I would like to get and she nailed it! I will definitely come back again!

Bee and her staff are simply the best. As a family of 4, we have been in her care for four years, and I never let anyone but her near my hair.
