I can't say enough good things about this store. From the food always being stocked with something to eat up until a hour before they close, down to the individuals that keep this store running. Great people who truly do care for the Community around them. I can remember when this Marathon was the original general store, Jimmy Lee's!! I was there every single day buying the thumb suckers with the wax at the bottom with a glass bottle Sundrop. And if I was really good, on the weekends I was able to rent a couple VHS'S to watch Friday and Saturday night. Good times....

No other place I'd rather call home than here.

Friendly service, great selection, coffee was fresh at 11:30AM with lots of sugar and creamer selection. Also got the chicken fingers and potato wedges. They were homemade and excellent. Well worth a stop.

I stop here specifically for the chicken strips. They are amazing (90% of the time). They are bif, fat, juicy and hot. And I am NOT a fan of gas station food but my husband found these. I declined the first time we drove through and regretted it. We always try to stop if driving by when they are open. Once we barely made it before they closed and the strips were not super fresh but all other times have made the stop worth it. Yum! And the best part is you don't have to get out of your vehicle if you are in a hurry.

The staff helped me with a gas can and they are so sweet and polite. It was a joy running out of gas to meet such an exceptional staff.

They therw down on some chicken strips all there food is off the chain . Crazy good for a gas station .
