The Garage

The Spoon was to capacity so we went around the corner to The Garage. Super cool surroundings. Great service and yummy 3 color nachos!!! The Garage door was open for nice, fresh air!!!

Great restaurant and bar with wonderful serving staff (especially Chavonne and Johnny). The Karaoke was so much fun this past Thursday night with the Fuller’s!

Stopped in for a first visit to take advantage of happy hour. My husband and I were very impressed with their awesome chicken nachos appetizer. It honestly filled us up way more than we intended before our entrees. I got the country fried steak, okra, mashed taters, and he got the club sandwich with fries. To me, the country fried steak lacked flavor/salt but the portion was huge and very filling; the okra was fantastic as were the fries. And my husband was happy with his club and old fashioned drink. We will definitely be back! :)

Karaoke on Kentucky and the garage every other Thursday night is the BEST!!! Kristie is the MC and Kevin the DJ. Kevin’s a true musician and knows how to bring a great time to all. Chauvon at the garage knows how to take care of you while you have a great time listening to Karaoke on Kentucky. Come on out and enjoy! You’ll have the best and memorable times.

Small restaurant that is an extension of spoons cafe. Better for breakfast lunch or dinner away sans kiddo’s. Their bloody Mary’s are good. Fish tacos are dry however the baked spaghetti is delicious.

Stopped here for dinner and was not disappointed! They serve breakfast all day and the service and speedy! The eggs benedict were delicious and reasonably priced. Their drinks from the bar were also well priced and came in fun glasses!

The Garage was already our “Cheers” thanks to Chavonne, but she has taken it up a notch with “Karaoke on Kentucky St.” A fun and engaging atmosphere with the garage door open and everyone cheering on one another. Even if you don’t sing, this is the place to go and have a great time while meeting your fellow McKinnians.

4 words.....karaoke at The Garage!! Wow! We've been there for numerous evenings and we always love it, (the food, drinks and absolutely the service), but this was so much fun! Hopefully they do this again!

Cozy little bar just of the McKinney square. It has little cozy nooks, and a very friendly staff. Bar is very clean as is the single bathroom. Food is from Spoons restaurant upstairs which as excellent food. Prices are very reasonable, drink selection is great. Only downside is the limited parking around the McKinney square. Highly recommend.

We just moved to Princeton and this is actually one of the best Mexican restaurants I have eaten at since moving from south texas!! The food is excellent and I’m not sure about all the not great reviews but I give 5 stars and Val is phenomenal!!!

We went to their first karaoke night and it was SO fun!! Definitely will be going back again for the next one.

We had the Frito Chili Pie. It was delicious. Only open until 3:00 M-Th.

We sat down quickly (party of 6) for Sunday lunch.
Coffee was beautiful and yummy. For was fresh and good.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Will definitely return again if I'm in the area. While Spoons has a bustling, more family or larger group orientation, the Garage was calmer and more conducive to conversation. With the same menu, it's kinda of nice to have your choice of two different atmospheres! (Oh, and you guys have the COOLEST "chandelier"!!!)

This place has great food. My husband ordered chicken fried chicken with eggs and cottage potatoes, and it was so tender and juicy. However, it did come out about 7 minutes after his eggs and potatoes. That was not our servers fault, though. It was the kitchen not reading her ticket correctly. I had the Karen Special and it was delicious. Overall, we found this place to be great. It is the adult alternative to Spoon, making it the quieter option.

Great food and great entertainment on Thursday night for karaoke!

My hubby and I love The Garage. We are regulars. The food is great, but the staff is what makes it the best! Johnny and Bryson are on top of things. They are both super friendly, and always remember our drink orders. These guys work very hard providing excellent service!

Delicious! We went to Spoons for lunch but they couldn't seat us because our whole party was not there. So they directed us around the corner to The Garage, those of us who were there were able to secure a table, same food as Spoons, very extensive menu, delicious!

Great place for all you can eat breakfast and more!
