Bakery Cafe Rockport

Such a gem. Our friends met us here. The parking looks difficult but we went around the block and parked in front. We thought for sure there would no seating. It is large inside and you seat yourself. We were greeted as we entered and our waitress Christina was quick at getting our beverages. We ordered pancake combo(2), cheese omelette, sausage/gravy and husband Belgian waffle with sausage. Everything was wonderful. We will be back next year. Kudos for great food and service.

We went for breakfast and had a great experience. Small town cafe type feel. Food was excellent. I had stark and eggs. My wife had French toast. Good prices and portions. Place was packed but had great service.

There were 8 in our party with 2 small children. You can not make reservations, but they were very accommodating. We didn't have to wait very long to get a large table for all of us. They were VERY busy the entire time we were there. All the staff were very efficient and very busy. Our waiter took great care of all of us and his other tables. We were all very impressed.

Huge portions for lunch special at a good price. Everything was served very hot. Each time the waitress came to the table, she was smiling. Best experience we have had in days. We will be back!

My wife and I stopped here on our way home from Corpus. We walked in to a packed house and friendly wait staff. The food is top notch, I had biscuits/gravy and bacon/eggs. Wife had French toast/eggs. Everything was cooked perfectly! Great service and the place was packed the entire time we were there and people were still waiting in a line outside.

What a fantastic place to eat ..coffee was so good it didn't need anything more .. no cream or sugar!

The Western Omelette I had was very homemade and tasted amazing!
The grits are extra special.. why?
I don't know why .. they were just better than usual!
The sausage my wife had was really yummy! The eggs were done perfectly...

Okay, maybe it's the ambience of the quaint little restaurant .. but the feeling is just perfect!
This is only amplified by the extraordinary service .. so attentive and still not distracting.
Coffee refills.. were always on time!

The price was way less than it should have been, .. so much value for your money!!

There are two different hamburgers on the menu one is Frozen one is homemade there is a huge difference! I definitely went with the homemade version and it was truly amazing!! Also got two eggs sunny-side and they were cooked to perfection. This was my first time going to this restaurant our order was taken right away but it did take a while for the food to come out.

I had a Chef Salad. So good after a hot day of working outside...the staff here is always friendly.
On another note, check out the insulated cups with all the different designs. Love them.....

Cute quaint atmosphere. One of the waitresses could have been a little more attentive. The breakfast was on point and the owner was on the floor helping and taking orders. Sweet man. Chicken fried steak is homemade. It's not a pre-made frozen mess. And it was cooked to perfection 🥰 biscuits hot and fluffy. Just like the Guenther House in San Antonio. Delicious food

Always a great place for breakfast! The staff is super friendly and the food is good! Quality ingredients and an extensive menu. Daily specials. A fun little place to gather with friends! A wonderful asset to Rockport!

Had a nice time here! Didn’t have trouble with parking for breakfast, it was full inside though! Didn’t find anything wrong with our order, the waitress was kind and brought us everything we needed!

The Huevos Rancherros we had was delicious, everything tasted fluffy and tasty!

Highly recommend to anybody visiting to come and try this place out!

We went two days in a row. The first time, we wanted to order breakfast but they stop serving at 12 and it was 1 but we got lunch and everything we got was delicious.
The next day we went before 12 to make sure we got breakfast and it didn't disappoint. Their coffee is super good too.
Both our waitresses were super nice as well. We will definitely be back.

It's another one of those places that we look for where the parking lot's full and the Google reviews are good.

I had the ham and eggs with the hash browns which were excellent.

My wife had the sausage and eggs and hash browns. We both really enjoyed the hash browns. I'd recommend this place to anyone coming to the area.

This place had the best breakfast. I was in Rockport for the day and just passed by and stopped. I'm glad I did. Waitress was the friendliest person I've met.

We loved the food and the customer service! We are from out of town, and we're welcomed into their community without question. The food was fresh and a reasonably priced, and we had a great time!

4 of us for breakfast, server was amazing - he's related to the owner. Food came hot & fast. Everything was delicious and top notch. Bring a sweater, it was a little chilly.

Super yummy chicken fried steak special today, with cabbage, mashed potatoes and gravy, and navy bean soup. Yum yum!! Excellent waitress and nice bright cheerful atmosphere.

Hot, satisfying breakfast to get your day going, very reasonably priced. Friendly team and customers. Almost always a good conversation comes with the meal.
