I highly recommend the top floor. You get great veiws of the ocean their are the tops of palm trees at that particular height. I was lucky enough to see a thunderstorm hit the water. It's conveniently located just outside of charleston. If your not an ocean person there's also a public pool.

A chill family community! Cute little shops and some amazing seafood restaurants. Live music on the roof top deck of the bar/restaurant. And the Ben and Jerry's ice cream place is always a hit! Small but plenty to make a day on the beach great! But, why do the only public bathrooms close at like 6-7pm? The beach is easily accessible with ramps from the street to the sand. Definitely made toting my 7 month old and all his gear around more convenient. Isle of Palms is my go to beach in the Charleston area. Limited hotels on the beach so we stayed in near by Mt. Pleasant. Only a 10 minute drive to the beach. Parking prices could be a bit more reasonable, but parking anywhere in Charleston is a pricy.

The beach was so pretty! Isle of Palms was definitely memorable. The waves were rough a few days which was so fun to play in! We will absolutely be back! The beach was so clean, not very busy, great place to find shells, stepped on a couple sand dollars in the ocean. Just a great place to be and vacation. The beach houses on the beach are gorgeous as well we loved the pink, green, and yellow mansions. LOVE THIS PLACE!!

We came for a day trip to the beach, I loved that the beach was clean and didn't have a lot of trash laying around. The bathrooms by the beach were also very well maintained, I have a 6 year old and a 4 month old and that was a huge plus.

My wife and I spent a week relaxing on the beach here. We stayed in Mt. Pleasant to save a few bucks. Short drive to the beach every day. Plenty of close parking. Awesome wide open beach. Stayed the week of June 10, 2017. Plenty of space for all. We will go back!

This is a local favorite. We used to come here often when we lived in South Carolina. Since we moved we don't get to get up here as often as we would like. The beaches are not near as crowded as myrtle, and the shops aren't near as expensive as Hilton Head. Highly Recomend.

I thought it was wonderful here! I stayed two nights with my fiancee and his family and we had a wonderful time! We were right next to the beach, and we had a great view as well. I would definitely go back again.

We bought a wave board and a skimming ball. They had exactly what we wanted. The store associate easily found the skimming ball from my description of what I had observed other people using at the beach. The location is perfect. When getting a wave board, buy the ones with the hard plastic bottom. The ones that are foam surrounded by nylon material seem to break easily. We have seen lots of them in the garbage cans.

It was a really nice beach, plenty of open space on the beach. Only downside is most parking, you have to pay for, but otherwise than that it's worth it. Watched the eclipse there and it had a good view.

Nice place! Right on the beach, but with it's own pool, too. Close to dining, shopping and a short drive to Mt Pleasant.

Not just for families but couples too, public beach, friendly people. Recommend the hourly parking unless you spend the day it's $8. Food and wares are pricey too.

A very busy and crowded place. Parking is somewhat of an issue, but we walked to it, know this problem. You do have to pay for parking in this area, so just a heads up.
