Overhills High School

This a good school with a good administration. It does have its issues but in my opinion they are all due to over-crowding, not the fault of anyone working at the school. My son has had excellent teachers who truly care about his success. Any time I have reached out to them I have received a response within 24 hours. I am looking forward to the next 3 years. The athletic coaches are great as well...nothing but positives as far as I am concerned.

Actually this school is pretty darn great, the only problem is the student body.
I believe ever since the Dr.Middleton came in to work there he accelerated the process of the school even more, yes he is a bit on the odd side but still...
I believe that ever since the Dress code was enforced there has been less ladies showing too much in a public environment.
The only thing you have to worry about is the student body...
The Student body is the only bad thing here..... Not the administrators or staff.

My son has been attending OHS since Jan. Since he has been there all his grades have gotten so much better. When we first moved here I was told this was a bad school. Well as a parent I disagree. I give OHS a give star rating.

Mr. Kuhn is the best guidance counselor ever! I have never seen someone go out of his way like this man does. He truly cares about the students. He is absolutely amazing.

I am a student here at ovehills high school and its really not that bad...i mean the student bodybis bad but they are slowly fixing it and accually by far thisbis the best school ive ever been at

Best school i've been to, honestly the people are great and life is okay at overhills . if you go there take advantage of the chance!

i give it 5 stars cause its the only school i know of that said f you to michelle obama and is still serving french fries on friday's instead of those pathetic poor people sweet potato fries

Public high school

I'm about to finish my senior year as the class of 2017 and honestly Overhills is a pretty good school. A lot of the teachers try their hardest and everything is usually clean (except the bathroom and lunchroom). The student body can flip flop from now and again but is typically okay and I would say is probably the worst thing about the school as its so diverse you either have complete butt munches or wonderful people. I would send my kid here if I ever have a kid.

As a Junior I can say OHS is a great school! Love the diversity of people and the different opportunities allowed for students. The only issue are the specific teachers that need to get fired because they don't have the qualities of a good teacher and the lunch food.

I really love this school for my children. I have a junior who has attended since sophomore and now a freshman. I do not have anything negative to say about OHS. I have a special needs child and another one who is not and I have attended meeting for my special needs and I have met several staff members including the principal who is very approachable and reachable. The teachers who I have had the pleasure to meet have been nothing but respectful, professional and very genuine and caring to my children's needs. The only issue I have come across is the bus situation. My children's bus (they attend bus 127) is too crowded. They have 3 to a seat and most of the time my daughter has her bf sitting o her lap. That is outrageous. I have contacted transportation about this and left a vm on Mr Kevin Griffin's vm to get back to me if not I will be attending the next BOE meeting. Other than that I am a proud military parent of two children who go here.

Not a perfect school for sure, but it is what you make it. I don't have much disliking towards it.
