Great local park to explore. There are different walking trails to hike. There is a large open field in the center of the park to picnic or run around.

The park offers a natural shade playground. The playground is pretty neat in the it is made to blend in with the nature and made of tree branches.

There is a large picnic pavillion and restrooms.

If you like to play disc golf, there is a course through the forest.

Make sure to check it out.

This was my first time there and it was amazing place for any age. I was there to walk and it was very pleasant and peaceful. The park also has an awesome play area for kids reminds me of a Peter Pan inspired play area. For the older kids there’s a bike trail with ramps and looks like a lot of fun.

We come here quite often for the playground and the nature trails. It's always very clean and you can find all kinds of wild animal tracks so it's lots of fun for the kids.

So much fun! Bring the family, the trails are easy and not to long for the little ones, it’s shady and the play area is great!! There are two groups that hide painted rocks here and we’d love for you to come find them and then take them with you to hide somewhere else! It’s a great sense of community here and is always enjoyable!

This is my favorite place in the area. There's so many trails to walk, a disc golf course, a super cool and well-maintained wooden playground set in the trees, and you should definitely take the short walk to the pond overlook to see the frogs and fish. Do watch out for cottonmouth snakes though, down near the water. I've seen them by the shore more than a couple of times.

Great park, shaded playground, awesome frisbee golf course and you will always encounter nature here. Terrific host of story times from Harnett county library and Girl Scouts and many others!

Restrooms could be cleaner., and the slides could be fixed. Maybe too not so many tree stomps around, because the kids if not paying attention could fall and get hurt. Dont want that for my child. But great nature area and friendly people go meet, kids have fun.

A great park with a natural wooden play structure and swings. The park also has a pond, a disc golf course, and 1-2 mile walking trails. There is also a pavilion that is a good place for parties. They have put in a library box where you can bring a book and take a book. Also there is a decent sized field for activities.

I've been coming to this park since it first opened and it is by far the best place to relax, walk, and just enjoy the beauty of nature. The disc golf course is a must-see for everyone, even if you don't know how to play correctly (like me). I highly recommend coming here if you love nature just as much as I do.

Beautiful park, Very spacious and quiet, I found this park by mistake on my way to Raven Rock. This’ll I recommend this park to any and everybody who is in the area even if it’s to stop by. Check out the beautiful pond.

They're not kidding when they say there are cottonmouths/water moccasins in and around the pond! Yesterday we went for the 1.8 mile walk and then hung out at the pond for a while. Very nice walk, but be careful!

I really loved coming here and I have walked on every trail. The trees and hills really make it a natural experience. Great place to get lots of walking outdoors done, and is good for kids and dogs.

Has a great disc golf course that I've played many times. Has nice trails and none of them are particularly difficult, perfect for children to grandparents. Nice little overlook by a pond. And you can bring your dogs as long as they're leashed. Definitely a great park for anyone in the area.

I came across a copperhead snake on one of the trails. This was kind of closer to the water; where it's more muddy and vegetated. It's also where the trail narrows. He was just minding his own business, but definitely be careful if you have kids or dogs. On the plus side, it was cool seeing one up close in the wild. Very effective camo pattern!...he blended right in.
