Dr Miller has taken care of mine and my fathers dogs since he opened his office on Hillsborough. He and his staff are the most caring and professional people.
When you go to Dr Miller it is much like taking your child and he is always attentive and does not rush through things.

One of my foster dogs was injured and I called the office as I was driving there and they took Zeke immediately and took care of his injuries.
I own a rare primitive breed of hairless dog that a lot of vets know nothing about but Dr Miller and his staff knew of them and have taken most excellent care of them.

Dr. Miller is experienced and knowledgeable, a refreshing change from the veterinarian franchises and chains. I thought my dog was dying, and Dr Miller diagnosed him with arthritis, prescribing meds quickly and at a reasonable price. My dog is back to his old self! The entire staff welcomed us, demonstrated their love and compassion for my dog It was well worth the 40 minute trip from Raleigh.

Dr.James Miller and his entire staff are extremely compassionate and professional. We were in a dire critical situation with our elderly dog suddenly began dying at home, and we were distraught.I called, and was kindly told to come in. They walked us step by step through the procedure and allowed us to hold him. It was a comfort that our beloved boy passed with no pain and was given respect plus was allowed his dignity.Thank you Dr.Miller and staff for helping us at such a terrible time of grief.

Dr. Miller and the staff were great with our puppy needing surgery and care. We were happy with their followup calls and service. I would not hesitate to recommend them to care for your pet.

I had my (very large) pig spayed with Dr. Miller and Dr. Mozzachio last year. They were so gentle with my girl. No post op surgery complications. From the front desk to the nurses and doctors, both my pig and I had a wonderful experience. Thank you all for taking such good care of my Rona!!!

Since moving to the area three years ago, I have found the professionalism and attentive care provided by Dr. Leslie and Dr. Miller to be among the best my pets and I have ever received. I have a pack of five dogs and the entire staff at North Churton Animal Hospital knows each of them by name. I've come to NCAH for everything from routine vaccines to emergency surgery, and they have been thorough, comforting and precise every step of the way.

My dog Brutus recently had a mystery illness and hadn't been eating his food for days. Dr. Miller correctly diagnosed his condition (which was a rare one) during a critical stage in his illness. I think Brutus not have made it if not for Dr. Miller's quick diagnosis and treatment plan.

My dogs all know Dr. Leslie so well, that they actually wag their tails when I say "It's time to go to the vet." Her outstanding surgery skills with my little girl, Greta, ensured that she recovered safely and quickly after her spay.

The detailed follow-up and care instructions provided by the staff lets me know that everyone is on the same page. It really feels like they are all family, and they make you feel like family, too. This has not always been the case with some of my previous veterinarian offices. I can call any time with questions and they are happy to answer and research even my most vague concerns.

I highly recommend them as your pets' primary care provider.

I am a 2nd generation Dr. Miller devotee. I have heard horror stories about things people have experienced at vets, so when we moved to Greensboro (45 min away) there was no question in my mind we would be making that drive to take our pets to the same vet my parents have for years. I trust Dr. Miller implicitly with my babies and he has never shown anything but kindness, expert knowledge, and the willingness to do anything it would take to care of my animals as if they were his own. I’m so grateful to have wormed my way into his practice via my folks 🙂. Also, it should be mentioned that the first person you’ll see when you go into the office is Debby, who might be the loveliest human alive. She will instantly help ease any of your anxiety or fear. If you could tell from the rest of this review, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr. Miller and his team to anyone and will continue to bring our pets here for care.

When I first moved to Hillsborough I thought word of mouth might be a very good way to find out who our new veterinarian would be. Literally everyone I asked said North Churton Animal Hospital so that is who I teamed up with for the care of my three Chihuahuas (ages 15, 12 and 12). Two of my three have serious heart issues so I couldn't trust their care to just anyone. I met with Dr. Leslie one day so we could discuss the care of my dogs and from that day on, I knew she
was the vet for us. I didn't have to look any further. She has placed my dogs on several meds all of which have given them extra years and good years at that! I'm forever grateful for the fact that she cares. Her staff is wonderful! They are always so very nice and I know you won't find better care for your beloved pets anywhere else. I adore each and every one for helping my beloved fur kids and for CARING...I updated this just a bit today - 3 1/2 years later. I wish I could express to anyone reading this just what Dr. Leslie and her associates have meant to me. They have literally meant the world to me and I will never, ever forget their endless kindnesses towards my babies and towards me.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Let me start by saying I was very hesitant about switching my cat and dog over to a new clinic. They are like my children and I am very protective over them. The first time I took my babies there I was so nervous, but after walking in and meeting Debbie at the front desk, I felt so at home. She has the biggest smile, she treats us like family, and the way she interacts with the animals, is beyond touching. You can tell she really loves her job. We absolutely love the clinical staff too. Every single vet tech we have met has an infectious smile and you can just see the love for these sweet babies. The doctors are extremely kind as well. My cat and dog both feel right at home and I love how thorough they are with them. They also take the time to sit and explain things in depth. One of the vets sat in the floor with my dog like they were best friends the entire visit, made him feel truly comfortable. Dr Miller just performed a surgery on my cat and he did an EXCEPTIONAL job. Some of the cleanest work I have seen at a vet. They are extremely talented and knowledgeable staff and I could say nothing but GREAT things. Thank you all so much for the superior love and care you have provided for my fur babies. You all go above and beyond, especially Debbie at the front. She is the absolute greatest person and I could not be happier with the customer service here. I would recommend everyone to give this clinic a try. You will not be disappointed.

The staff is EXCELLENT and sweet. They treat my furbaby as if she belonged them. I switched to Dr. Miller when I found out he does the spay procedures with a laser which allows pets to be released same day as an outpatient. Not having to hospitalize my baby saved both of us a lot of stress.

Amazing service, we had an Emergency early Saturday am with our sweet kitten Lola. We arrive and they immediately took her back and evaluated her. Of note we were not current customers, will be now for sure. Lola was okay, she did use up one of her 9 lives though! Thank you

Love both Dr. Leslie and Dr. Miller! They came recommended to me for shy dogs. My dog is super shy, but she’s always made to feel comfortable at this vet! They always do a great job of making sure my questions are answered, always follow up and clearly love what they do.

Moved to the area, took our 10 year old cat there because of some intermittent issues keeping food down. The Vet was super transparent and discussed how we COULD do some expensive blood work, but would it reveal much? Settled on a cheap, easy, and safe de-worming pill which the Vet administered and saved me the hassle. Cat was cured and we saved some $. Amazing.

Planning to take our dog and other cat there for their routine care.

Other staff are friendly and efficient.

We love North Churton. They have taken great care of our dogs and cats. They are not pushy- but will provide recommended treatment and work with you to make the decisions. They were so accommodating to allow us to bring a 3rd dog in during our already scheduled appointment. Friendly, professional, caring group of vets and techs there!

Love for Pets & People! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit with our dog, Maxx! We were treated with kindness as owners and it was evident that they loved and cared for our dog. The receptionist was as bright as our sunny Saturday morning. She is a ray of sunshine.

Today was my first day ever being in there. The staff was very kind and sympathetic. They made me feel like family and not just some random person walking in. The vet was very nice and was able to help me make a choice about my dog. The nurse came outside to give me prints of my dogs paw. It was touching and very kind. I appreciated it. Thank you to the vet and nurse. Im sorry I didnt remember their name.

We are very thankful for the care and support that we receive from everybody in the hospital.
We moved from Florida one year ago with our beloved dog Chicho, He had a kidney disease. and it wasn't easy for us to trust in a new doctor and a new hospital when you have this condition. But we find in North Churton Animal Hospital special people that help us to take care our dog. The staff was kind, always helpful and with the sincere and truly commitment to do the best for the health of our dog.
Sadly after all Chicho passed away. Even in a hard and sad situation like that. They help us to pass smooth.
Thanks to Dr Leslie and all of the staff. We are sure that our next member of the family will be there soon.

During a January 2018 visit to Hillsborough, our 6 year old mutt Maggie ate a bite of something dreadfully toxic and within 12 hours was refusing food, seemed disoriented and was developing skin lesions. Of course, this was on a Sunday. As visitors to the area, we were in a panic. We relied on the reviews of Dr. Miller, Dr. Leslie and their staff when we phoned frantically on Monday, and were seen in their Hillsborough office immediately. Their thorough, and compassionate, evaluation and prompt treatment had our Maggie back on her feet in a couple of days. When our vet at home did her follow up evaluation, she told us we were within 24 hours of losing our girl. We are truly indebted to this fine NC veterinary practice!

Try this vet hospital; you won't go anywhere else after the first visit. TLC for your pet from every staff member means even our very anxious unwilling dog is given a very careful exam. This staff does a great job on pet owners as well! This is great facility with prompt appointment schedules. Most especially, I appreciate being listened to when I ask questions or express concerns.

I needed cat food during hurricane Florence. My vet was closed but North Churton was open and graciously agreed to let me get some food from them (it is prescription, so I can't buy it except at a vet). The lady was EXCEPTIONALLY nice and they did not have to help me, but thank goodness they did! Thank you for your kindness!! Highly recommended!!!
