Very good food and not a long wait. Food always made fresh, you can see them make it, open kitchen. My favorite is the chicken hibachi and you get 1 yum yum sauce with it and the crab and cream cheese wontons. I’ve had their steak and shrimp hibachi as well, very good.

Your food is ALWAYS DELICIOUS and a great portion for the money. I most always get the Teriyaki chicken and sometimes added shrimp. Love the yum yum sauce too. One plate is enough for me and my husband together and have enough for another meal for us. I give you 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐plus!!!!!

Yummi Japan is my go to stop for Japanese food to-go, or really anything to-go. I often have some larger orders (3-4 meals) and they are always quick and very friendly. The hibachi meals are large portions and are delicious. You get a variety of vegetables and fantastic rice with your hibachi meals. And the white sauce is outstanding! Would recommend Yummi Japan as a regular take-out or dine-in or a quick stop for something different just off of I-95.

My mouth is very happy right now.. got the Scallop Express Bowl and it was everything I needed. The scallops were perfectly cooked with crispy edges and melt in your mouth tenderness. My broccoli and mushrooms were delicious alone, even better when mixed around with the white sauce. Sat outside and enjoyed every second of eating this.

I recommend having the haibachi steak shrimp and scallops. And there freshly prepared sushi. I eat there at least once a week . And you get a lot of food for the price I can never finish it all. Plus I think it is a lot better for you than getting something from a fast food place. And they take care of their regular customers. I'm probably going to go there tomorrow evening it is sooooo good 👍😉

Looks ran down and unkempt, but it actually is very well kept and very clean. Staff members very attentive to presentation, cleanliness, upkeep, and maintenance. Staff very pleasant and curious. Food always prepared adequately and according to customers specifications and special requests.

Best take-out ever! Make sure to get the white sauce, just get extra... You are going to need it. The bowls are delicious, I always like to add extra vegetables to everything, they are so good. Service is always fast and friendly. They have an outdoor seating area. Definitely worth the trip no matter where you are from.

The Yummi chicken is REALLY good when it's fresh! I often get a chicken bowl, which is basically a small hibachi chicken. It includes broccoli, mushrooms, rice(cooked in soy sauce) and chicken. I posted a picture of mine(a chicken bowl)after I took a few bites(forgot to take a pic sooner). I would definitely recommend them. They're great for lunch, the have good sushi too!

Stayed at the Tru by Hilton and had a long day of driving so we didn't want to go far. This was close, had great food, quick service good price for a family of 3 ($30 total).

I stopped here for the first time since I work in Smithfield. The food tasted great, but it was not as good as the food that I receive from the other Yummi Japan on Glen Road in Garner, NC.

I really like this japanese fast restaurant. You get your food freshly cooked, the meat is always tender and well seasoned. Though fried rice is kinda plain, the grains are always cooked well which i appreciate the most. The veggies are well cooked, and for the prize this is perfect place to go if you need something quick, healthy& satisfying. Also, their crab rangoons are yummy. Now, sushi rolls are mid, but this is not a fancy sushi restaurant, if you want to satisfy a sushi craving, this is an affordable option and the prizes are fair for the quality you get. Yum sauce is great but I do need more haha. Great!

2 Hibachi chicken with extra chicken and a salmon roll. Friendly staff, quick turn around for hot fresh dinner. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend chicken bowl with side of Hibachi zucchini and onion. Food and service always dependable. They did however modify the white sauce. Please revert back to the original.

The food is A+ best quality Japanese food I've had in a year, I dined in I didn't even wait 10 minutes they had my food to me very fast. Whatever their secret is towards food quality and great service is outstanding KEEP IT UP! Yummi Japan is definitely a worth while restaurant to check out.
