Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

Let's start this off right! The staff was absolutely wonderful. I have never felt more welcomed to a restaurant in my life. They genuinely brought a smile to my face when they greeted me. My wife was very happy with this as well. The restaurant was incredibly clean. I ordered the kids meal which came with that awesome Paper Car. When I bit into that burger my taste buds were delighted with perfectly seasoned and cooked beef. The cheese was melted to perfection. Even the bread was great. They cooked my burger medium which is something I would prefer. The fries were really good. If it was possible to rate this restaurant higher I would totally go for it. It is the perfect atmosphere for a couple or a family. WE WILL BE COMING BACK!

Delicious - so much better than the typical fast food you find on the road. Very quick and friendly!

Neat little restaurant. Ordered the Andy's John Boy and Billy BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with half fries and half onion rings. Also, two chili dogs with chili cheese fries. Great friendly staff. No wait for seating. My wife got a chocolate shake for dessert. Food was out in a flash. All was very flavorful and delicious. Good prices. Highly recommended!

We had never eaten at one of these restaurants before. Its a step back in the past. Good food, fast service, and not bad prices. I would recommend this place.

I won't lie. I was skeptical at first. However. The service in there was adorable. I love the servers that work there. And I'm so glad the kitchen knows what they're doing. Salad was clean and delicious. Pimento burger was bussin! Shrimp po'boy is absolutely worth it it was so good. I'm not a fan of salt on my fries or tater tots, so next time I'll ask no salt on the tatertots. Ice was also delicious . I'm a custard lover so I was pleasantly happy with it.

I've been here a couple times with my daughter (6) who loves the ambiance, frozen custard desserts, and kid's meals delivered in cardboard classic cars. On my first visit, I had the JB&B BBQ Bacon Burger which really hit the spot, and their fries and tots are delightfully crispy. Lately I've been trying to eat healthier, so I was pleased to discover their cobb salad on a recent visit, which comes with grilled (or fried) chicken, crispy onions, and crispy bacon. Yum! I will have to try the cheesesteak sometime because the one my mom ordered looked amazing.

Friendly, professional staff. Quick service. It's definitely a fast food place but the quality of the food and service is better than your typical drive-thru chain, and it's more conducive for a sit-down meal. Definitely great for the kiddos.

Lived in the NC for 7years, My first time eating here. Lol 😆 I went with the double cheese burger 🍔. It was really good/fresh. The service was excellent... I think, I 🤔 waited about 5min; Not bad at all. The restaurant was clean etc. The server Hailey was amazing, so sweet, yet professional. Definitely going back.

Always a great experience at their locations and great good. I usually get the John Boy and Billy burger or po boy.

Delicious. The meat is tender, next time I will order double cheeseburger, since the meat is thin the bun is super soft. We enjoy it very much. We recommend it. People were very friendly and polite.

I was a little skeptical walking through the door at 3 pm, on a Saturday. The burger was juicy, tots were crunchy and the mint chocolate chip shake was on point. I would definitely recommend and will be back when I am working in the area.

I had a coupon so I stopped in to pick up some dinner. I had never been here before and I was surprised. The food was quite good! The place was empty, but the food was worth the wait!

Cheeseburger was amazing and our server was so polite and attentive. Wish we had one closer to home.

Literally, the fastest burger I’ve ever gotten and probably one of the best! The owner/operator from eastern nc was very friendly and ensured the patrons were happy with the service!! No robots needed here, you could tell the waiters and waitresses had been trained well! I definitely will be returning to this Hwy. 55!

Best food in town, not too bad on price. Love the atmosphere and the old timey look. The workers there were just amazing. Food was freshly cooked. Bathrooms were clean. Also they have amazing custard. My favorite is the strawberry Sunday. They have high chairs for little ones and adorable car kids meals.
