Orange County Child Support Services

Rudest most unresponsive government office I have ever delt with. I thought perhaps it was because I was a father seeking help for my kids it was that they were biased against men but judging from the other statements here they just don't care to help anyone. I have been leaving messages for my rep for almost a month and they don't call back and when I speak to the secretary she seems annoyed and just sends me back to the answering machine. These people make the DMV look first class.

The lady who answers the phone is unbelievably rude. While we were having a conversation, a few different times she put me on hold while I WAS STILL TALKING. After the 3rd time, she ended up transferring me to a voicemail.
Orange County, I think you need to hire someone else to answer the phone.

I just called the child support office to get my caseworker’s contact information. The ‘woman’ that answered the phone should not be answering phones at all. She put me on hold immediately after answering and hung up on me while I was on hold. I called back and told her I was disconnected and she was defensive as if it were my fault. No apologies and only one-word responses. Then she transferred me to voice mail. She is not qualified to be in a customer service position & should be transferred to another department that doesn’t communicate with the public.

The lady who answers the phone has no customer service skills at all. She had an attitude and made me feel like I was an inconvenience. I'd like my tax dollars to go towards a nicer, better-trained staff.

Our only child is 17 Years Old. He is $16,000 in arrears, and still NO ENFORCEMENT, even tho he regularly shows for contempt hearings!
They have never enforced the order in 17years! Thank You so much Orange County!

Literally filed when my son was 2 weeks old. He’s 18 months now and I still haven’t received a dime. How long do you need to make a deadbeat pay??? I have to call these people constantly to try to move things forward and still nothing.

Very rude! I hate to even call this place. The black lady answering the phone is the absolute worse and with all the complaints it just shows you guys hire anyone.

I just wanna say these are the rudest people that work here! I have never ever met anyone so uncompasionate in my life! Worst place ever.
