Easy walking trails with views in historic Hillsborough, NC. Parking in front of park, definitely recommend!

Really well maintained place for running, walking, and leisurely strolling. The homage paid to the Natives and historic Black communities is really important. There are multiple signs describing the history of Hillsborough all along the river walk. The end of the river walk leads to the old speedway track, where folks can get their miles in too. The area is generally safe to walk or run on one’s own.

Riverwalk was beautiful and loved all the art! Easy walk with all the wooden boardwalks.

In my opinion- there is nothing more pleasant to walk along side than a river! The lush Vegetation , Happy Critters, and Sweet sound of Water Rushing - all beautiful alive.

The walk has been made easily accessible by board walks and bridges that are maintained faithfully.

Right near my sister Kay's house it's very beautiful and quiet! My fiancee ❣ and I really enjoy the break from the hustle and bustle of day to day life and the chance to get close to and appreciate the beauty of nature in our small town!

A thoroughly enjoyable walk enroute to Occoneechee Mountain.
