Deep River Mercantile

Hired this company to paint my wood cognac color cabinets in my kitchen. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Hannah helped me pick the right paint color and together with her helpers transformed my dated kitchen cabinets! They look brand new and have added value to my home.

There are a lot of great gifts in the store. The staff is welcoming, and the store is warm and inviting. The candle they were burning made the store smell wonderful. The store manager, Susanne, was knowledgeable about the merchandise and very friendly.

We contacted Hannah at Deep River and scheduled a consultation for our kitchen remodel. Her color suggestions for our cabinets and kitchen walls were outstanding. As the job proceeded all work remained on schedule and was performed professionally. Now completed, our kitchen is dramatically transformed and the total experience exceeded our expectations. Hannah, Michelle, and Bailey were great to work with and we will definitely use Deep River on future projects.

I am from out of state but when I come to NC to visit family, stopping at Deep River is a must! They have the best gifts for anyone in your life...it is also a great place to spoil yourself and get something just for YOU! Hannah and her team are very helpful and knowledgeable about all of their products! How lucky are the locals to have this wonderful store to shop at?! Love this place!

The store is so cute and has nice personal gifts. My wife and I have purchased beautiful area carpets for both our kitchen and outside porch. They also provide cabinet painting. We had our all of our kitchen cabinets and island painted and were very pleased with the results .

I can’t say enough great things Deep River Merc! 10 stars for me! It’s about 25 minutes from our home in Apex and always has what I need. Hannah and her staff are extremely helpful in finding the perfect gift. Need a gift for hubby- they’ve got it. Need a best friend gift - boom they have that too. I always spoil myself with any delish treats she’s got in stock. All of the employees are so friendly and easy to chat with. It’s like the store version of “Cheers”. Do yourself a favor and take a trip to see what they have in stock! I promise you won’t regret it - as I never do!

My family and I absolutely adore DRM! The staff is friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. You can tell the owner puts in thought, a lot of time, and effort into showcasing the best inventory of goodies for their customers. I love that even if I am unable to leave my home, DRM offers shipping and other options. In today’s world, family owned and operated, DRM has done an incredible job serving their community. Thankful for DRM!!

Hannah is easy to work with and the whole experience was exceptional. Our cabinets turned out perfect. I highly recommend using them for your home updates.

Fun little store! I happened to stop by during their 5-year anniversary celebration - free margaritas and popcorn! Great place if you’re looking for local gifts.
