We had two BLTs and a Garden Salad it was delicious and fresh. The staff was so friendly. We would recommend. :)

Let me start with saying the breakfast food is amazing! If we lived here, this would be our spot. The prices are awesome too. So when we walked in we didn’t really know what to do. You’ll order at the counter and then find a place to sit. Get your own drinks. They will bring out the food. This is a very different set up BUT the people are SO friendly and like I said the food was so good! The biscuits and gravy were the best we’ve had during our week visit in NC. The grits are good too. Oh and the biscuits…YUM! Good portions too. Try this place! Okay I’m done.

Comfort Cookin' indeed. The southern fried pork chop was very good. Juicy and flavorful. The grilled chicken caesar salad was perfection on a plate!! Friendly, fast service. Beats "fast food" any day.

If you don't want to dine in you can call ahead. They will have it ready when you get there. Go in, pick it up and leave very fast and convenient. Very good atmosphere. Very friendly people 😊

Was in town for business and had planned to have lunch back in Wilmington but was starving and saw this place off the side of the road. Made a U-turn and went back. Great staff, classic options and just simply good food

My wife and I went here for breakfast. It was simple but so delicious. Grits, sausage, bacon, eggs and a biscuit. I am weary of eating others biscuits but these were fluffy and fell apart in my hand. The service was great as well. The two women that waited on us were very sweet. The owner came to our table and spoke with us for a minute. She was sweet as well. We will definitely return again and try their dinner.

This will be a regular stop for us! The food was done exceptionally well. The service was warm and attentive with a tongue in cheek humor that you can only get in a place like Heather Rae's. They genuinely care that your food is good, your table is clean, and you have a good time dining with them. I'm sure, like most restaurants, they could use more staff, but you wouldn't know it by how clean and efficient the restaurant is at peak volume.

AWESOME! Stopped by in route home back to Fayetteville and it hit the spot! Fast. Friendly. Reasonable prices. Country-like cooking to perfection.

The burgers! Very tasty. Heather Rae's is clean and quick to serve the food. We had a sweet counter girl who let hubs try the cold slaw before he ordered it as a side. We will certainly be going back!

Let me start. I don’t like biscuits. Dry. Heather Rae’s hand makes EVERYTHING. This biscuit was fluffy and moist. The bacon egg and cheese perfectly packaged. So glad I made the U turn!

We was on our way home from SC to VA and we like to find mom and pop places to eat. This was an excellent place to eat and friendly and very clean. Was very impressed. Had Bbq platter and he had fish platter. Lots of food and was magnificent. Highly recommend to stop here.

What a gem for breakfast or lunch! The staff is amazingly friendly and attentive. Today I enjoyed the flounder plate and it was simply too much to finish. The two massive fillets were hot and delicious. The only improvement I can suggest is that when serving such full portions, extra tartar sauce is needed. 😉 I'll certainly eat here whenever I'm in the area.

Stumbled upon Heather Ray's on our way to Carowinds from Wilmington for my mother's birthday vacation. Food was amazing, biscuits and gravy, and the hospitality was on point. Great mom and pop place. Definitely will be making the 30-minute trip to eat there again.

The food was great and hot. Friendly staff and they even brought her slice keylime pie with candle for her birthday.

I have only gone at breakfast though I'd like to try their other times also, but their breakfast food is very good, and the people there are really kind and friendly. I would definitely recommend them!
