Delicious, well-made food! Wholesome ingredients are used to make a variety of meals for a hectic lifestyle to enjoy amongst a laid-back casual atmosphere. Everything was good!

I was so excited to finally try this place, and it did not disappoint. The staff was incredibly nice and efficient. The atmosphere is relaxed, and there is a lot of space. The food was upscale and yet comfortable. I will definitely be back. I got the crab cake with peaches and beets, and it was a pure delight.

This restaurant fills a much needed niche. How often does someone crave a really fantastic dinner but not want to get dressed up and go through the rigmarole of a fancy restaurant. Here you can come in shorts, get a good glass of wine , and have a spectacular meal in a very comfortable casual ambience. I wish they could come to Charlotte! Families, kids of all ages, and just an overall way to spend a nice summer night! Bar, variety of coffee , a nice outdoor patio, lots of seating, certainly checks all the boxes. Catfish is spectacular! Crab cakes delish! Actually we have been dining out more than we care to admit and these were best we’ve ever has. Will definitely be back. And online they have a variety of fully prepared take-out dinners. Vegan and Paleo as well.

Lovely meal, kind staff - we tried the ravioli, crab cake and watermelon salad. Great to have so many vegetarian and gluten friendly items, and we can't wait to go back and try new seasonal menu options.

What a gem! We got the eggs Benedict with cheese grits and a fried chicken sandwich for brunch. And a pumpkin cake pastry. Everything was fantastic. Lovely patio with a propane fire for warmth and gender-neutral bathrooms with changing tables (thank you!)

The food was amazing! We had the fried kitchen andbbq sandwich!! Also PSA, their menu changes weekly!

What a cute place! Felt welcome as soon as we walked inside. The place was very clean, staff was accoodating, and the fried chicken sandwich was to die for! Their patio is also super cute to sit on when it's nice out.

Had a great low key and healthy Saturday evening date night at Cafe Root Cellar. The crab cake over mixed local greens was very tasty as was the flatbread and beers. The ambience was fun, great local food and a clean trendy grounded atmosphere. We felt welcome and grooved to some Bootsy Collins, and other such funky tunes. We'll be back.

Absolutely delicious every time . The menu changes each week which makes it fun and exciting to try new things. Sunday brunch is outstanding. Have been back many many times and will be going back many many more. Would highly recommend it If you enjoy extremely high quality food with amazing tastes and combinations. The staff is always extremely nice and helpful and very professional. It's one of our favorite places to go. We are so glad we found it!.

We stopped over from the river for brunch. Get the cheese grits side no matter what. All other dishes are so nice because they aren't over promised like so many menus out there.....ur actually going to get all that the menu promises!

Creative menu choices and creative food preparation. Two foodies with me liked it a lot. I enjoyed my brunch too. The homemade pop tarts available today (Apr 16, 2023) were a fun touch and enjoyable. We want to try this place again.

Great vibes and very friendly staff! Coffee was great and there's lots of options to try! I would 100% recommend this place!

The chef here changes the menu with the season or a whim, I love to check out whatever she is cooking up here

Our favorite restaurant in the area! Incredible taste in every meal for both brunch and dinner. Consider yourself lucky if the Monte Cristo is on the brunch menu - it’s the best. We appreciate knowing our food is freshly made and created with local ingredients! The staff is also quite friendly and attentive. A must visit in the Pittsboro area

Great food, cheerful service, eclectic menu, generous portions. The decor is trendy and accommodates large groups or small. Love it.

I love everything about this restaurant from the ambience, drinks, staff, outdoor patio, the owners and the food. Today we tried the mushroom shawarma tacos…omg! I could’ve had 20! They were full of flavor and satisfying. The pickled red onions, cilantro, and green toppings added crunch to every bite. The tacos were served with fried yuca or like Miamians call it yuca frita! The entire dish was delicious! Looking forward to next weeks menu!

I really liked the fries! They were seasoned with more than just salt, and tasted great! The lemon cheesecake was also very good.

The food is excellent. We also wanted to try the House of Hops next door. They brought our food to a table there.

We get to enjoy the Root Cellar almost once every weekend. Chef Sera is the best. The way she blends local, fresh foods with combinations you would not expect is incredible. I also love the menu changes often so we get to try different dishes all the time. She is a Food Master!!!!
