Riverwalk Bridge at Weaver Street Market

Nice little walk in downtown, Hillsborough area..

My wife and I went on the walk after it had snowed 6” 4 days before. The river was very high. The bridges were icy and a little slippery, but the paths were all paved and cleared. We went to the right, which brings you to Gold Park. On a day that all of the other trails in the area would have been icy and muddy, this path was perfect for our daily exercise.
Unfortunately the snow must have caused the roof/center of the stick “A sight to behold” to have caved in. Too bad.
I highly recommend this park/walk on days that other wooded trails would be muddy.

We headed from Hillsborough BBQ and Paws at the Corner along the Riverwalk to the Speedway trail many times. Weaver Street Market is a good pit stop for coffee, then forward, hoooo! This bridge is very wide and accommodating multiple passersby with or without shortly leashed dogs. Better than Riverwalk of Danville's bridge, and the swinging bridge over the Eno at the state park. A solid paved riverwalk trail for those wet weeks nothing has had time to dry in the woods.

Great walk along Eno River connects Churton to Nash St through a 20 minute walk along the river.

Pretty spot and it’s nice to have trees identified. Wish there wasn’t litter and invasive plants, though.

What a wonderful place to take an afternoon family amble along the river close by in nature

No bathrooms along the trail. Gold park and weaver st. are the best options.

Quiet place to watch River and critters

Convenient Parking and a great walk with plenty of shade.
