Amazing Dahlia garden, so colorful, so many varieties. An easy morning hike with friends after spending some time in the garden. A few easy trails around and lots of things for kids to do and learn about farming and gardening.

What a great place to take the kids! My son loves going there with so much room to run around and so many TRACTORS! He loves tractors and has sat on every one of them at the farm. There are also chickens, goats and pigs on site, a huge field of corn, and outbuildings to explore. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. There is enough room to safely socially distance too, and lots of shade and picnic tables.

Gorgeous place with lots to offer. There’s large open space with historical buildings and signs. There were some picnic tables under big shady trees to eat at/rest or you could bring a blanket to eat on the lawn which well kempt. There are walking trails that are great for birdwatching. The garden (university of Maryland extension) has placards with the plant names and interesting horticultural tidbits.

This is one of the most beautiful --least trafficked areas to explore the outdoors. Great place to take the dog on a hike or to sit and read on one of the nicely placed benches. Park staff are friendly and great stewards of this place.

One of the most beautiful places in Montgomery County Md. It has demonstration gardens and programs for people of all ages. I went to an exhibit at the farmhouse and learned so much about Maryland's untold history. The staff is pleasant and very knowledgeable. Has hiking and biking trails, farm animals, breathtaking sunsets. Rock Creek also runs through it. Family friendly and very safe.

Incredible hidden gem: this massive park is an amazing place to take your kids. They have goats, pigs and chickens, as well as tractors that you can check out, and tons of open area to run around. My son absolutely loves going here.

Beautiful tranquil agricultural center with large flower and veggie garden, walks along the stream or road, and antique farm equipment for kids to play on. Bluebirds and goldfinches everywhere. Good place to bring kids or pets. Plenty of parking. I'm not sure the garden is wheelchair accessable, however.

Great place to visit with the family, my kids had so much fun, they were so excited to see the goats, chickens, and the garden. Plenty of area for running, walking, hiking etc. Great place to have picnic as shaded areas are available and it's well maintained.we would definitely go back.

Beautiful and relaxing. I love going to the gardens every month or two and seeing what's new. Great place to go for ideas on your own garden! Also the dalia garden is gorgeous!

Great for kids to explore nature/old farmland. Very quiet and rarely many people around. Kids can see sheep, pig and chickens. Full sun other than chicken coop and hay play which usually shaded. Lots of tables to picnic lunch. Lots of airplanes overhead from Moco airport. Porta potty for use. Big Dahlia (I think) garden back by Moco ag buildings that blooms late summer. Park by red farm for animals.

4th grade field trip and it was beyond what we expected. It's one thing to tell a child what is going on in our environment but the team here at the agricultural center went hands on so the kids can understand what text books talk about. Thank you for the welcome and tours it was great.

This is a county agricultural park. It has trails for walking, horseback riding and bike riding. There are a few farm animals there me and many family shows there of interest - gardens, steam engines, ironworks etc. Check their website for show listings.

Great farm and park, especially for kids! All of the employees -- especially Jim! -- go out of their way to greet and help visitors. Highly recommend!

Just went to see the antique tractor show. I especially like the old "hit or miss" engines. Very pretty setting. Going back to find out more about trails and other activities.

Delightful place that was new to me. While I attended a conference there, I didn't take the time to explore the gardens or the adjacent buildings. But, I plan to return.
