Fleming House Cottage

This adorable cottage bed and breakfast was amazing! All the little details and extra touches made this girls weekend so relaxing. This is a beautiful hidden gem in Clarke County. I highly recommend!

What a wonderful and comfortable stay. Carole makes sure that you have everything you need and really goes above and beyond. This is a wonderful and charming house. She really made staying in this city an enjoyable experience. A+ and highly recommended.

I reserved a one night stay at the cottage for my Aunt and Uncle to spend their wedding night before moving on to another destination. Carole was so nice and added special touches for them and they've decided to spend their entire honeymoon there! Thank you Carole for taking care of them!!! God bless you!!!

This is my second time staying and I love this place. Carol is such a wonderful host. They had grilled to much food one night and had more than enough and brought me Steak, mac and cheese with a salad and this dressing from a Japanese's restaurant that was wonderful! I will be coming back soon. Carole and I talked about the reason why I was there, and she is an angel. Thank you Carole and I will see you soon.

We absolutely love coming to stay at “The Cottage” as my 4 year old calls it. We come every year for a family event and we always love it. Carole always takes such wonderful care of us. There are always fresh farm eggs, a homemade dessert (this time it was banana nut bread), homemade jam and chocolates on our pillows. She has everything you could think of needing! We went to the store and bought food to make dinner and she had every bit of cookware you could possibly need. It’s so quaint and cozy. If you need a place to stay around the Meridian/Quitman area in MS, just call Carole and book the Fleming House Cottage!

What an adorable, comfortable, and cozy cottage; the best home away from home I have experienced in my travels! Carole added such a personalize touch to the cottage that I felt right at home. The muffins,
orange juice and eggs allowed us to enjoy breakfast on the back patio without having to leave the house! The bed was very comfortable. This was a 5 star experience and I look forward to staying there the next time we visit the area. Thanks Carole!

We came to Mississippi because my husband plays in a band and was going to be playing at the cowboy church. We got to Meridian thinking we would just get a hotel room upon arrival. Every Hotel was sold out. Miss Carol helped us out on short notice. We will be forever grateful. This was the shining light for us. What a sweet adorable little cottage. We rested so good! Thank you Miss Carol for taking us in and making a great experience out of a bad one. If you are in the area check this place out! You will not be disappointed ❤

We were going to MS for a birthday party and I found this house that is very close to Clarkco Park. Carole is a very nice host. This cottage is so cozy and was just perfect for my family. The decorations on the house was just perfect! It made me fee like I could really live there. I can't wait to come back to this place.

Carole went above and beyond to make sure our stay was absolutely perfect. Not only is the cottage beautifully decorated, immaculate, and well maintained, it is also furnished with anything you could need on your stay. In addition to providing us with farm fresh eggs, homemade jelly, coffee, English muffins, and juice, we also were able to enjoy some homemade blueberry muffins. And to think, we almost booked a hotel instead! This was our first B&B experience and it was amazing. We hated leaving such a wonderful little getaway spot. Thank you so much for a perfectly wonderful and relaxing stay.

Excellent accommodations!! Comfy bed!! Delicious breakfast foods!! Great coffee!! I was so relaxed I even took a walk on the sidewalk streets and I don’t do that at home! Loved every minute of our stay!! We had a family reunion plus church homecomings and
chose to stay at the cottage rather than with family but were close by family so we could go see them but some came to see us because they wanted to see the cottage and they were impressed also!! Also great television choices and WiFi!! Can’t say enough good stuff about Carol and her B & B 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 We will be back!!!

Are you traveling interstates 20, 59....or hwy 45 near Meridian,MS , and you need a place to spend the night? Let me suggest you make the extra 20 minute drive on hwy 45 down to the little town of Quitman,MS. There you will find the Fleming Cottage, the cutest bed and breakfast with a most accommodating hostess, Carol.! You feel at home the moment you enter! The decor is adorable! My husband and I have stayed there on two separate occasions and were treated like royalty! Carol makes the most delicious homemade muffins and cinnamon rolls imaginable. The beds were very comfortable so we felt refreshed and rested the next morning.
We will definitely be back! Thank you Carol for your sweet hospitality! We feel like we’ve made a new friend in you.

We just stayed this past weekend while in town for our annual family reunion trip to Clarko state park. This cottage and its hostess are quite a rare gem to find. There are top shelf amenities such as wifi and several streaming movie services to Egyptian Cotton towels and homemade foods such our cinnamon coffee cake (really need the recipe for this one). We had farm fresh eggs, home jam, English muffins, and orange juice waiting on us in the refrigerator. The house is immaculate and clean to say the least. Everything has been cleaned and sterilized so extra lengths are not only gone to here for comfort but also for cleanliness. Carole herself is just as charming as her cottage and we can't wait to make our next visit to stay. I really can't say enough good things about our visit. Bravo Fleming House Cottage!

Great location in town. Very quiet during the day and night. Beautifully done home with 2 bedrooms, dining, den, kitchen with small 2 seat breakfast area. Full kitchen with all that we needed. One large full bath with shower and tub. Great price. Very impressive. Highly recommended.

I was working in Quitman for 5 days and stayed at the Fleming House Cottage. It was great to have a whole house with a full kitchen, dining room and comfy living room rather than a boring hotel room. Carole was a fabulous host. She had warm blueberry muffins when I arrived and had stocked the fridge with home made Orange Marmalade and Broccoli Quiche! I emailed her with a couple of concerns and she came over immediately to address those. Would suggest for anyone needing a place to stay in Quitman.

My family and I were on our way back home when my son had a allergic reaction to beef jerky that we had bought in Orange Beach and we had to get him to the nearest hospital which was in Quitman Mississippi the hospital had to hold my son for a couple hours for observation after him receiving shots for the reaction to the food preservatives that was in the beef jerky I contacted the Fleming House Inn and cottages and Mrs. Carole accommodated us immediately at 8:30 at night. Mrs. Carole made sure that the home was clean the beds were made and it felt like we were going back into being with our grandmother again spending time with her and her home. Mrs. Carole was kind enough to share her wonderful homemade jelly. So before you leave make sure to get your order in for homemade jelly to bring home. The Fleming House Inn and Cottage is within minutes of a lake and a river for any fisherman. I would recommend this place for anyone to stay for a short visit or just some time away and a small quiet town. Thank you again Mrs. Carole for all your kindness and generosity.

Very quiet nice neighborhood. Better than expected. Would recommend a must for a vacation or just a weekend getaway. My husband Jose enjoyed the lake and just the relaxation. From North Carolina to Mississippi was also a nice ride. Another stay in the making.

We had a wonderful weekend staying here. Carol was amazing and she provided us with snack, Jellies that she had made and delicious cake. It was very relaxing setting and very clean. It was so nice to be able to let our infant and 6yr old play in the floor without any worries. It's great to know there is a place like this in Quitman to stay at now. My husband & I spent the night at Fleming House while in town for a funeral. The accommodations exceeded our expectations, and Carole does a great job to make your stay comfortable, including providing snacks, delicious homemade pound cake, jam & breakfast foods. The cottage is so cute & has great southern charm. The next time our family gathers in Quitman, I hope we can stay here again. Thanks again for everything!
