A pleasant surprise

Came here after the solar eclipse and wasn’t expecting much from this place in the middle of nowhere. I was completely blown away. The chicken was ACTUALLY hand breaded and perfectly fried.

The pretzels were also fantastic. I believe they were fried which gave them a crispy outer layer and a fluffy inside.

If this place wasn’t so far away I would come here regularly.

This past weekend we had a baby shower in The Mill Room downstairs. It was the perfect place to host our large event. They had the tables set up like we asked, the food was very delicious and we had so many compliments from our guests about the food. The bartender was very nice as well.

Love everything about the The Dew Drop Inn / The Kozy. I haven’t had anything that I didn’t like food wise. The service is always great & the atmosphere is very fitting on both sides. The pizza, pork steaks, deep fried ribs are a few favorites.

Great place. Was looking for a place to stop and eat. The people were very friendly. We ordered the chicken and dumplings. It came with a side, I had the grilled Brussel sprouts with bacon. We will be stopping here every time we are in the area. If you go through Bloomsdale, Missouri. Take the time to stop at The Dew Drop Inn.

Very good food. Large portions. Take note, there are count them two separate restaurants in same building. The Kozy Kitchen is the Dew drops "sister restaurant". They work from the same kitchen but serve different types of food. Both are worth the trip. Five 🌟 stars.

Ridden and driven by this place many times on my motorcycle or our vehicles. Finally decided to stop and grab lunch.

Our waitress was likely a bit stretched thin as she had tables inside (like ours) and out back on the patio, so she was hard to keep up with. Pizza arrived right after our fried green beans, though I’m not sure what threw off the timing.

Fried green beans were delicious though. My wife ordered a spicy Bloody Mary and said it was very tasty. We decided to try the mushroom pizza, though I don’t think I’d order it again. Our waitress talked us into going with the Alfredo sauce but it was just a bit too creamy for us (for pizza). Probably better with regular tomato sauce.

Quite a few other things on the menu that I would love to try so I’m sure we’ll be back. Burgers we saw in the dining room looked yummy but a couple sandwiches sounded good too.

We rented the Mill Room for my son's wedding rehearsal dinner. Bridgette Buff was so easy to work with. She made every step in the planning easy and stress free. Highly recommend! And the food was delicious! We got the pizza, pulled pork nacho bar, and salad. Yum!!!

Stopped in for a Bloody Mary and a late lunch after a hike at Pickle Springs. Bloody Mary was absolutely perfect. Olives, pickles, cheese, celery, and a decent amount of pulled pork. It was a snack in itself. The drink itself was a little spicy but also a little sweet. Loved the atmosphere as well. Sat at the bar and the service was a little off but all in all it was a good time.

Update: Back again after a hike at Hawn SP. Perfect way to end a perfect day. Came on a Saturday around 5:30 and got a seat right away on the patio. Had the Cucumber Chili Bloody Mary this time which was sooooo yummy. Went with the Grilled Whiskey Shrimp appetizer and The Pig and The Goat pizza and it was perfect. We also had a few of the draft beers on tap. Always a great selection. Service was wonderful and atmosphere was great!!!

Amazing night, great restaurant and bar. Really wonderful and talented musician and singer tonight. Ian Ferguson. He’s an incredible song writer and singer. I will be back. He is for sure someone to watch and the restaurant and bar is really a fun place. Staff is friendly and food is good.

On November 05,2022 My Son married his best friend & Soul mate, the love of his life & we all joined in on the celebration as the Wedding Reception was held in The Mill Room at the Dew Drop Inn in Bloomsdale, Missouri.
Brigitte Buff did a Wonderful job assisting us with all the arrangements & answering all our questions. It was a real pleasure doing business with her. All the staff was friendly & Everything turned out perfect & so beautiful. Thanks again Brigitte Buff for all your hospitality & accommodations.

I held a seminar at Dew Drop Inn. The meeting room was all set up, Bridgette was our server, the service was super friendly and efficient, AND the atmosphere was so fun. I highly recommend it for seminars, events, or just a casual meal. The pizza is super good!

This is an amazing place. Great Food, Drinks and very good prices! What I like the most is the service! My server was Charity and she was so kind and fast. I suggest to check this place out if you haven’t. Whiskey shrimp is a must!

We visited the Dew Drop Inn after a youth baseball tournament and it was amazing! They accommodated 58 people in our party and had all of our orders out very fast! Their service was awesome! Pictures are of their House Bloody Mary and Bourbon Flight.

I had my graduation party this past weekend in The Mill Room just underneath the Dew Drop Inn. It went amazing!!! My coordinator for my event, Brigette was great at making sure everything went perfect and smooth for my event!! The staff helped us set up the music, and they didn't stop until they figured it out!! Everyone at my event kept complementing the space and the food(we had boneless wings, chicken quesadeas, and pretzels)!! Would definitely have another event here!! I would also recommend to anyone looking for a space to hold any event!! Thank you everyone who helped my party go great!!!

We held a wedding rehearsal dinner in The Mill Room. What a great space. It was perfect. Food was great, service was great, Brigitte was terrific to work with. Highly recommend!

We had a baby shower for my daughter-in-love this week-end at The Mill Room and it was absolutely perfect! The space is beautiful, the food was excellent, and Dawn, our bartender, was a God send. Our event coordinator, Brigette, was exceptionally helpful, also. I would recommend The Mill Room 100%.

We had my father's 80th birthday here and it was amazing. Bridget Buff was so friendly and helpful from the beginning. She was very responsive (and fast at responding) so I never felt stressed or overwhelmed. Even when time was getting away from me, she was there sending reminders about food and drinks and was very accommodating. The venue was fantastic. The staff was so friendly and helpful the day of the party. We loved everything about the venue, the staff, the planning. The food was awesome and very affordable. Definitely will use them again in the future!

I ordered 60 different flavored cheesecakes for my daughters bridal shower and Brigitte Buff was absolutely incredible to work with!! She was fast, friendly, and my order was ready for pick up (no waiting). The cheesecakes were a huge hit at the bridal shower!!! Great service, professional, and great cheesecakes!!! Win Win!! Thank you Brigitte for all your help and great customer service!!
