Little Bennett Regional Park

The park covers quite a large area with many easy trails crisscrossing it. It's slightly muddy following the rain 2 days ago. There's many parking lots so plan your route and pick the closest place to park. At this time of the year the park is culling the deer population so watch for signs on days to avoid hiking.

Nice quiet place to camp. Has many sites for tents. Several sites for RV's with full hookups. Some are even pull through. There is even a dump station. Clean campers restroom's. Friendly staff. Many activities on the weekends to keep famlies active plus Many hiking trails.

A lovely forest -- for hikers, bikers, and horseback riders -- close enough to be accessible and large enough to be quiet.

Phenomenal riding, some of the best in the DC Metro area. If you like Flow this is where you need to be.

Very family friendly. Weekend activities available for kids/family (some activities require extra $$). The hiking trails are well marked (map was so-so).

Lovely park, very green, fairly dense forest but maintained, seems like much underbrush has been cleared sometime ago making your line of site farther within the forest.

The campsites were in a beautiful wooded area and were well maintained with easy access to water. The campground is sufficiently set back from the major roads that there was no noise from local traffic, yet was easy to get in and out.

Little Bennett Park has a lot to offer: Miles of trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. There are several historic buildings and lots of untamed woods. Note that many trails get muddy after a rain shower and the .PDF map on the park website is not quite up-to-date with some gaps so bring your phone and Google maps, like you would ever leave the house without it😊

This is hands down the best park I've ever been to in Maryland and probably the nation. (I've even been to yellowstone, it just stinks like wet bison there) this park is calm, peaceful and well maintained. Many miles of beautiful trails and countless acres of serene fields. Little bennet is clearly the Jewel of the Maryland parks system, and most likely the world! A must see!!!

What a great idea to get out of the house. Close by to. There are all kinds of wildlife,and they have a Doggie walk play enclosed area for your 🐕 to get some Exercise. It's all good.

Pretty good campsites and trails in Little Bennett. I grew up camping at Little Bennett in the Boy Scouts so good times.
