WaterWalk Kansas City - Overland Park

This place rocks. I definitely recommend over a hotel. They did a really good job on the rooms and amenities. Super friendly staff as well. Carol should get promoted. She stayed up late to meet us for check in at 3am. Thank you guys for a great stay

Very clean and quiet. The employees are great and helpful. Love that you can have your dog with you. It's the center of where all of our business was,very convenient.

The accommodations were nice and the property is very clean. The staff is excellent even though we had a hiccup where we were supposed to have a balcony and ended up with a one bedroom on the first floor. This problem was never resolved, but it did not ruin our stay and again the staff is some of the best we have had.

My stay at Water Walk was awesome! Online reservation and check-in was easy and staff was very helpful, informative, and kind.
The rooms were spotless and perfectly furnished with everything my friends and I needed to enjoy a nice weekend away from home. I particularly loved hanging out in the courtyard by the fire and having bbq on the provided grills.
I would definitely recommend to my friends and family and will certainly return soon!

Great apartment hotel! I got a free upgrade to a 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment, and it was fantastic.

It was clean and spacious. The towels were excellent quality, and the water pressure was strong. It comes fully stocked with everything you'd need for an extended stay, including cookware, dishes, washer, dryer, etc.

It's also cheaper than most nearby hotel rooms less than half the size of these apartments.

Minor issues: the sofa is too firm with no cushions. The side chairs were much more comfortable. The bed is on the firm side but tolerable for me.

This is the best hotel experience I’ve ever had!! The staff that work here are incredible!! The manager Mickey was so helpful before I arrived(flew in from Virginia). Whatever I needed she was on it and had such a great attitude and smile the whole time! Hazel is another lady that works there and she is so friendly and funny. One of the maintenance guys, I can’t remember his name but he’s on day shift and would take the trash out for me because it was so cold outside. The housekeeper(Caucasian lady, I don’t know her name)was incredibly kind and did her job with such a grateful, wonderful attitude. Most people that work in housekeeping are rude, don’t speak, and you can tell on their face that they hate their job, but not this lady! She was amazing and I wish I had the power to give her a raise!! Shoot! Everyone I mentioned deserves a bonus and a raise for doing such an extraordinary job with limited staff! This will be the only place I stay at when I come to Kansas!!!

This was a phenomenal experience! Check is was quick and pleasant - the staff was friendly and upgraded us automatically when they had run out of the rooms we had booked, and for no extra charge. The room was spotless! So clean, and I have very high standards for cleanliness, so I was very pleased, there was also a washer and dryer in the room so my fiancé and I could do our laundry for no extra charge. All around, it was a wonderful experience and we will be back!

Husband and I are in KC for medical reasons. Will be staying 36 days.
Place was clean when we arrived. I declined the cleaning as I did it myself.
The kitchen stocked with virtually everything you need for a stay. The apartment is roomy enough for the two of us. Plenty of storage for clothing.
It has been very frigid outside and the place is easy to heat.
The staff has been very helpful and courteous.
I would recommend this place for your stay in KC.

We basically got a 2 bedroom condo cheaper than the surrounding typical hotels. Great staff. 24 hour coffee machine made amazing coffee. 5+ rating

What an awesome room.
We were so surprised to find a place that was so complete.
The room was like an apartment.
So clean.
We will never look for any other place to stay when we return.

Handy apartment for two. Loved having our shared space in the center & a bathroom for each bedroom on the sides. Comfy furniture. Cute kitchen. The only downside was floor thumping noise above throughout the night. Started around 10 pm. Maybe painting or work in the upstairs apartment? But I didn't get much sleep. Also the tv in our bedroom didn't come on. It said there was Direct Tv but no instructions if so. Living area tv was only apps. In general clean, but bathroom had hair on the floor not my color. A sticky rectangle about 4x3 inches on floor was in living area near front window and hand dirt, hair, seeds, etc glued to it. Couldn't clean it off with anything strong enough available. Despite this, I would stay again. Close to the event we were attending & seemed very secure.

Better than any hotel/motel in the area. Has everything but a pool (no big deal). Was great having a kitchen and laundry!!

Overall the room, property, staff and value were excellent. Each person we encountered as part of the staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful even when quite busy. The property felt to be in an excellent location feeling both safe, quiet and well lit at the same time. Literally each suite had everything you could need. The only downside was the bed noise and to skimp on the bed frame seems out of place.

I enjoyed this stay very much even though it was for one night. A couple little hiccups but nothing major! I will return!
I had a queen suite where the bedroom was separate and the cable box for the TV in the bedroom was supposed to have a card and didn't. Not sure whose job it is to make sure those are in place but I encounter this 1 to many times at hotels and it is very annoying. We tried removing the card from the living room TV box and putting it in the bedroom but without success.

Staff was very professional and everything was clean, neat, well equipped and modern looking. It met our needs and expectations greatly. We were in town for a family holiday weekend. This location was perfect for 4 adults and a baby and was conveniently close to our son’s home in Overland Park.

We have stayed at Waterwalk the last several years that we have visited Overland Park. It's quiet and well maintained. The rooms are well sized, comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. I enjoy having a complete kitchen with most everything available to cook with if I don't want to go out.

Easy checkin/out. Coffee bar available. Locking doors for each building, gated entrance. Well lit parking and halls.

I just checked in but I had to applaud Hazel and Carol. Both were extremely friendly and welcoming. I travel 275 days a year and this by far is one of the most pleasant check ins I have ever had. Property is beautiful with lots of amenities. Highly recommend just on the customer service but the property is wonderful.

There is no carpeting, which l feel is much cleaner, but you could hear noise (walking) from the room above.

Being away from home for 4 weeks is hard but WaterWalk made it a whole lot better! Our perfection. I had room to walk room to room and could do my laundry. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful! I wouldn’t want to stay any place else when visiting Kansas! Super Clean and they had everything you would need to cook a meal in your room. reasonably priced! Within my companies travel budget as well!
