Jim's Family Restaurant

I had an excellent experience at Jim’s on February 13 2018. The staff were friendly and the food tasted amazing, and for the portion size and quality, the price is reasonable. I had the fried chicken livers which were great, and the cream corn was very tasty also. The pecan pie was also great! The only drawback is that the place is cash only, however, they let you know before you enter the restaurant. The atmosphere is very cozy and they have a lot of options.

As usual there was a good crowd there! We really love Jim's, the food is out of this world good! The server staff is great, they go very far when it comes to meeting your needs!

Southern hospitality at its very best. Great food served quickly and with big smiles and welcome by their help. We'll be back for sure!

Traveling through on vacation. Primarily a locals place to eat. Saw many people doing take out. Very good experience. We would stop here again. Chicken Livers were really good.

This is our first time here simply because we are not in Summerville, Georgia very often. We didn't know what to expect, but it's a very unique buffet experience. Their large hamburger and fries were delicious! Super friendly server and the price is hard to beat!

I've been eating at this place for over 12 years. I'm a traveling contractor and everytime I find my self in or around Summerville I eat at Jim's. Great food. Great prices. And most importantly Great people work and run that place.

I love the salad the salad bar because of all the ingredients are always fresh and today's fish plate was also really good .

A home town favorite. The only negatives I have to say are 1- they are closed on Monday and Tuesday 2- they don’t accept debit or credit cards

It's the place in Summerville if you want to feel welcomed into the restaurant instead of as a burden of having to be served.
The food is great with the BBQ plate as my favorite.
The building is older and has character but it's clean. I enjoy older architecture to fresh trendy establishments though.

A fantastic restaurant for breakfast lunch or dinner! I go in the mornings for fantastic omelets and I like the hash browns smothered and covered well done please. In the evening I'll go there and get the hamburger steak with baked potato and the salad bar. I like to finish that off with Annie pie slice there. They are all good! Facts about the friendly staff and the community staple for the over 30 years that I've been going there. I highly recommend Kim's Family Restaurant!

Very friendly people and very tasty food at an affordable price. Also, the food was served very fast. The restaurant is located conveniently off of the Interstate, and hence it's location together with delicious food and friendly atmosphere makes it an ideal choice for travellers.

Great food. If your looking for country style home cooking and/or comfort food give them a try. Waitresses do a fine job and are quick with their service. The only downside is they don't accept debit cards or credit cards. Still it was worth the drive. Prices are very reasonable as well.

The best breakfast around. I hadn't eaten lunch are supper, but they put the lunch bar out while we were leaving, and it looked and smelled so good. It made me want to stay for lunch
